NEED SOME HELP (GAME CRASHES WHILE LOADING)

my game crashes when its loading online and offline.When it gets to loding objects or something like that it crashes,i disabled the firewall but no luck,i cheked the drivers and there ok so cant seem to find the problem

It sounds like you got a corrupt install. Try uninstalling the game, then reinstalling from a fresh download of the full install file.

First, you got very low amount RAM in that computer. 512MB shared RAM. 512mb is absolute minimum but you really want a lot more. The videocard also uses thoose 512mb so you actually have only 446MB RAM free for system to use on that computer.

Second, You also have a very low-end laptop graphic card not build for games really. I think most ATI RS200M cards don't run this game at all (like yours) but MAYBE it will run on latest drivers or something... I'm not good with the ATI cards.

Frankly, even if you get the game to run on that computer it will not be a enjoyable experience.

Laptops are almost impossible to upgrade. MAYBE you can ad more RAM but you're stuck with the crappy graphics card. This is a big downside with laptops in general.

That desktop has a better processor, so with a few upgrade it will be able to run WWIIOL better than your laptop ever could.

The first things to consider are video and sound cards. That desktop is now using onboard video and sound, which are fine in an office environment, but suck for games. You can probably get an older model SoundBlaster for a cheap price, and then buy the best video card you can afford (and which will fit in that computer). This post (http://discussions.playnet.com/showpost.php?p=2189084&postcount=3) includes a list of video cards that can run WWIIOL, from worst to best. There are newer video cards available, but the newest video cards would be held back by your older processor.

As with your laptop, the desktop has the minimum amount of RAM required to play WWIIOL. You should consider upgrading to 1GB or even 2GB, depending on how much you can afford.

Many players here will recommend www.newegg.com as a good online computer store. Check their shipping policies though, to see if they will ship to Puerto Rico.

There are three types of slot that the graphics card will fit in.
1. PCI - this type is pretty much obsolete, but you can probably find PCI cards for sale. Don't confuse these with PCI-X!
2. AGP - possibly the most common right now
3. PCI-X or PCI Express - the most recent technology commonly available

I think the Presario 05 has PCI slots, which probably means you'll need to buy an older or less powerful graphics card. You can find out for sure what type of graphics card you need by running CPU-Z (download from http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php). Run the program and look under the Mainboard tab. Near the bottom under Graphics Interface, you'll see the slot type and maximum interface speed for motherboard.

I have the exact same problem crashing while trying to load. Big issue for CRS.

Intersesting fact about my problem. I never had this problem before , then today I took my computer apart and cleaned it from top to bottom. Removed motherboard, pulled everything off of it, cleaned all the connections , dusted everything out, made sure everything was bright , shiney and clean. Put it back together and since that point I have not been able to get back into the game.
