    • Such a great read. Thanks for all of the memories!  I came from AW3, hung around the forums before the launch for what seemed like years.. I think I signed up in 2001 but didn't seriously play until 2002..  Came in with the 31st Wrecking Crew.. led by ZZ.. was a great time..   rbnn
    • So I just completed the video capturing 249 frames per second and varying between the 260's and 180's. So I want to thank you for your response arrogantly LOLing that I don't know what I'm talking about. It underscores my core point. Time to start my post production and voice over work. The issue is never the work people put in or the technology, its the denial. Denial is the thing you keep showing me in these posts that tells me all I need to know. I'm sitting here with full video of facts and your denying everything I'm trying to tell you. Denial and excuses are why the game cannot improve. You deny there are problems and make excuses for the inability to fix them. That's always the reason behind these issues. It never seems to change. As for graphics, well yeah I guess I can't say it's exactly the same that was a generalization without exact pixel counts. Your right there. What I can say is it still appears to have all the same poor quality menu buttons, the same 2d grass with all of the hard corners, and extraordinarily simple textures just as I remember from the game when I used to play it. Everything else is just splitting hairs. The simple broad strokes are as you've already admitted, the graphics don't measure up at all especially for something that has been in active development for 17 years. So support team spent a week determining that the issue was an XML file and sent a new one. A week to investigate for an XML file is impressive!! That got me past that loading bug so I could innocently go walking directly into the next one. The Tutorial system which somehow says I've completed the flight training, says I need to learn movement but is unable to open the LUA file. Oh joy! Yes everything is wonderful! Silly me for only seeing the worst! As for my gunning for the game. I had originally come to see how the old game I used to play was doing. It was the denial and excuses that made me consider it as a review subject. The rest you have all done for me. Your saying I just want to show nothing but the worst but lets face it, I've spent a week trying to simply log in and I still can't play. Showing how the game plays for me as a new player and your responses to my concerns along with my video proof is just me showing my experience as a new player. As for making money, my channel isn't monetized! As for the programmer issues, I totally feel for you. The code has become a dog's breakfast to work in. I get it. How does denial and excuses improve that situation? And how do you charge money for the product and then expect anyone to cut you a break while you live in denial and make excuses. You can't have it both ways. Want understanding? drop the fee and ACT like a voluntary effort. Want to make money? Then your a business and excuses don't cut it! But charging people cash and then whining for patience as your customer waits a week and whining about being volunteers with broken code won't fly.
    • Joined in 2011 directly into Windhund 116th. Been that way ever since (even though Axis peeps keep accusing me of being Allied or having Allied alt accounts since I don't immediately buy into bias arguments, lolz).
    • Bilton is the only player to have an infinite K/D. I once saw Bilton with my own two eyes run across an AB packed with panzers, pull out a knife as he rushed the bunker, killing all the axis defenders, and single-handedly captured the town. Amazing.
    • You have my vote. This has also really frustrated me, especially since I often do it for tankers and air to track movement and make a ton of marks and then I can't anymore because I have too many.
    • Players can type .ammo to have their icon flash for other people, but when lots of people are on it can easily get lost.

I do think a shovel icon would be useful to designate "build here" for FMSes, other fortifications, and ammo crates.
    • Well as I said, every interaction gives me valuable information. Thanks and best of luck to you all!
    • This is a good idea. Just yesterday some people were calling for ammo. during one of the fights...they are fighting of course  and likely can't text a lot....and I need to somehow find the fellow (not on discord, not in my squad etc...). Having some flashing icon that lasts for a minute or something would be good.
