  1. I'd be up for it - can represent (poorly) CRS, and generally get drunk and kill things.
  2. Does it read "timed out performing network selection" - if so - then I'm getting the same error upon trying to connect to the campaign server
  3. I must say, DreamHack would be really quite epic If it gets planned, I'll have to save up some pennies me thinks - and my family... they'll just have to go without christmas presents this year
  4. Heyo Fella's Now I'm having a fair bit of bother with a computer at the moment. Basically, the thing cut out mid game - playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R Now, since then, I've been having trouble restarting the thing. On the setup screen, it appears pixelated, and I can't get beyond the windows login screen. I cleaned the graphics card out, and this seemed to help for one reboot (it was filthy) but it's started playing up again. Now, it starts perfectly in safe mode, so I'm fairly certain it's a graphics card issue but I'm looking for a second opinion or even a second diagnosis Cheers Vol
  5. 2 CTD's - first 2 CTD's I've had in like 3 years - both within 1-2 mins of spawning - I had been playing the game at this point for at least 40 mins system bios - very simple CPU: 2.8 GHz i5 Graphics: Radeon HD6800 RAM: 4GN DDR3 HD: 1TB
  6. Downloaded everything fine, but now the DMG file won't work. It runs and the open or save file dialogue box comes up and IE flickers up but nothing after that. I'm trying the latest PC update download, to see if I might have any luck with that. All my AV stuff and firewalls are working fine and shouldn't be a problem. I can not use the playgate install as this installer keep crashing on "connecting to patch server" process. I've been sat here trying to get this blighter to work for nearly 2 hours. Any advise?
  7. Ok so - it's not Ideal but the 32bit will do the job - and sometime down the line a 64bit would be ideal.
  8. Or should I got with the 32bit OS?
  9. There's a 64bit option but that thing would tip me over budget. The 32 bit should be suffitient but not ideal?
  10. I'm upgrading, and I'm getting this prebuilt ( with windows 7 - 64 bit) Just wondering how this will tackle wwiionline. I'll be using it mostly for 3D modelling/Texture work http://www.cclonline.com/product-info.asp?product_id=50087&category_id=1155&manufacturer_id=0&tid=ccl-amdel_high It's more or less at the cap of my budget
  11. Well I use these local buyers, I spotted something but don't really know what I'm looking for - my budget is say £100 - about $150-160. My current specs http://www.cclonline.com/product-info.asp?product_id=36654&category_id=719&manufacturer_id=0&tid=adx630wfgibox I saw this, I have techy friend on it but he's very busy. Just need to know what I'm looking into getting, both MB and CPU wise. If someone could look into that site (cclonline.com) it would be much appriciated Windows Vista HP -32 Foxconn 946 7MA Series Bus Clock: 266 megahertz 550W PSU NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512mb 4GB DDR2 RAM I have a fell system spec, message me if your interested
  12. Ok, what should I be looking for, and if someone could find me an example it would be much appriciated. I m wondering what GHz range I should look at
  13. OK, my set up consists of an 8800 512MB G-card, 4GB DDR2 RAM and an intel core 2 duo 1.8 gz processor. Offline my frame rate hovers arround 80-120 - online it hits 10-20 in large battles, 25-40 in smaller battles. I'm just wondering which is my best option, whether to get a new rig (expensive) or a upgrade my processor/G-card. Any info will help thanks
  14. It's Deviantart, I have a few problems with my AV with it too. What AV you using?
  15. Thanks guys
