  1. this
  2. Thanks! I know I'm going to regret this. LOL!
  3. You guys sucked me back in!
  4. I've been playing BE since 06 and there is still one thing in the settings that has me confused (More than usual). That being the "Visible Player Limit" setting. Which way does this work? Is it for showing visible enemy, friendly or both? I'd hate to think that if I had it set to low then I wouldn't be able to see the enemy but, he sees me.
  5. Right click the installer>properties>compatibility> Vista SP1:Run as administrator Had to do it that way on my win7 install
  6. No joy Hink. I'll just wait until the account catches up with my CC. Should only be a couple days
  7. I updated my CC info quite a few hours ago because my CC expired. It's still showing that I am in Grace Status.
  8. I've been in a few and the FPS is as stated. I use the machine for programming at my job also. It gave me the best of both worlds with portability and performance plus it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. As far as battery life, If I'm on battery, I'm not gaming anyways so it's not an issue with me. The G72GX blows my water-cooled, overclocked desktop away and I can take it with me where ever I go and you can't beat the 1080p graphics w/HDMI. BE looks absolutely beautiful on my 32' HD TV and no drop in FPS. EDIT*** I should add the fact that I run 3 partitions on it. 1 is strictly for gaming with no extra software on it at all plus I use Gamebooster which shuts down all the services that are not needed whern I play. I clean, defragged machine is a must for any serious gaming and dual boot is the first step.
  9. I'm playing on an Asus G72GX laptop and it plays great with min FPS in heavy battles at around 50fps and no lag or stutter Specs: 2.53 Core 2 Duo 6 gig Ram GTX 260 with 1 gig 1600x900 Eye Candy maxed Win 7 64bit Best Buy has these on sale for 990 USD
  10. Ummmm You forgot to respond.
  11. I'm running an Intel dual core and got the problem for the first time last night.
  12. It's not just the AMD processors. I got the same thing last night for the first time. I had to do a total reboot of my system to make it go away. This is a new one to me.
  13. Ok , I may be already kicking a dead horse with the Win7 thing but....I have the official Win7 64bit Enterprise release ( I know it's 2 months early but hey, working for the Government does have some advantages ). Now since this is not a RC but an RTM release and seeing how my hardware drivers are available, should I have much problem giving it a go or should I just run a dual boot for a while?
