  1. The following error is generated when I choose server. This is without mitigations of any kind applied. Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: Playgate.exe Application Version: 0.1.1.9 Application Timestamp: 4a1437b5 Fault Module Name: ntdll.dll Fault Module Version: 6.1.7100.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 49eea706 Exception Code: 80000003 Exception Offset: 0001000c OS Version: 6.1.7100.2.0.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1053 Additional Information 1: 905d Additional Information 2: 905d0e7e3c2ef27c5f6186803db52914 Additional Information 3: 305c Additional Information 4: 305cb996b2a056d4193b87fd15e7381f
  2. The beta Playgate crashes as soon as I choose environment. Haven't spent any energy with the application compatibility tools, however, due to lack of time.
  3. I suppose the original poster is running an ATI card with the 9.5 driver released for Windows 7 aswell?
  4. Applying the mitigations suggested by the standard user analyser doesn't solve the problems, but one gets another problem; SmartHeap Library MEM_BAD_POINTER No closer to the solution unless we forcefully crash Windows and start debugging the result. Or you Rats could just make it compatible. It would seem your application handles resources in a way that Windows 7 finds somewhat offensive
  5. Here is the information generated by the crash: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: WW2_sse2.exe Application Version: 1.29.3.255 Application Timestamp: 495153fb Fault Module Name: StackHash_9b43 Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000 Exception Code: c00000fd Exception Offset: 72b1e294 OS Version: 6.1.7100.2.0.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1053 Additional Information 1: 9b43 Additional Information 2: 9b431b0c90e83ec68d3d9c2ff7e024e8 Additional Information 3: feb7 Additional Information 4: feb7fc1b4ccfe33f19ad35c220a990e4
  6. Same problem. Without compatibility the game will crash, with compatibility the will crash in a different manner described in the above post.
  7. There is a slight possibility that something IS wrong when it comes to the stuttering going on. only that it doesn't necessarily have to do with the clients hw and/or settings.
  8. Swedish ADSL from Telia. Pretty much error free 24/3 mbit connection.
  9. Dual core 4600 here with 2 gb fast ram, raptor drives (defragged) and XT1950PRO card and the machine is in very good order software and driver-wise. Experienced the same thing as you did yesterday. Made strafing an AB somewhat difficult. I have not experienced the same behaviour while on the groudn though. Mind you I have only been playing around with inf. Is there any way of disabling the loading of friendlies in an area?
  10. All I know is that alot of snipers and/or AT guys are going to try to reproduce your problem
  11. Try pressing NumLock to turn off the FPS meter. See what happens. I get the same patches sometuimes due to the FPs meter freaking out, however mine cover the right side of the screen.
  12. Are you sure you ended up with exactly the same settings? If so it is very, very weird.
  13. EDIT: ignore this
  14. I get 70-90 outside. When facing a big city I get around 15-20. When flying close to a small city in which fighting is going on (read: strafing) I get approx 0,2 frames per second. Maybe even 0,3 at times.
  15. You make me cry. Now I have to take my medication. There. But...this graphics card runs tie fighter very well? And Monkey Island (1)! The patch will fix everything.! You'll see! You'll see! *runs up stairs to room, slams door and throws himself on bed crying*
