  1. You mean like clicking the "last page" link in the thread "smartheap errors and the like"? That works for me (in Opera) and I can't comprehend why it'd malfunction in any other browser, it's a pretty simple link (vs a javascript function call which is just stupid). Last post from the forum listing seems to work for me too, hm. Edit: Last *page* does just that, it loads the last page and you need to hit page down to see the last post. I don't see a last *post* link (which actually would be an improvement I'd agree).
  2. I'm going to guess that the mouse software was never installed - if that's the case you can probably download it from the manufacturer's website.
  3. Okay, that stinks but I can understand the reasoning. It's a shame there's no way to get it to happen without developer involvement (player volunteer work with programmable joystick software or some such).
  4. Ahh! I think my question is answered - and I think it is working in that case. I was just doing this from the ground looking at the flaps visually and it only seemed to work in two settings, so I think my config is working. Thanks for the replies!
  5. Really? No replies? Doesn't anyone do this anymore? Is the problem just on my end?
  6. Win 7 works fine, you do have to run in compatibility mode (Vista I think I used) though. What steps have you taken to troubleshoot so far? Drivers up to date? What kind of hardware?
  7. Does this still work? No good doing incremental flap settings so far. (Haven't tested absolute yet.) The flaps only seem to respond when I hit the buttons multiple times, going between full and none. What's up with that?
  8. Hmm, I think I may have figured out how to fix this, unless something else fixed it and I'm confused. Putting "Center Spring Strength" way down to like 5% under the Device->Controller Settings->Properties config I think helped a lot. Now I just need to figure out how to partially deploy flaps instead of toggling between 100% and 0%! :\
  9. I'm having nothing but issues getting this to cooperate. My main problem is that the stupid stick has way too much resistance to it. After five minutes of use my arm is too tired to continue because it tries to re-center so hard. I have other games (which coincidentally support force feedback) where this isn't a problem - the stick is smooth and doesn't resist very small, precise movements like I'm seeing in BE. None of the settings in the Logitech profiler that I've tried seem to have any significant effect within the game. Ahh!
  10. Boo! After 10 years, would be about time IMO. That stinks.
  11. Does anyone know if there are any plans to eventually support FF in BE? I'm hoping devs post here sometimes...
