  1. Well gentlemen! Again, I thank those that have offered help with my original post. Didn't realize what a can of worms would be opened by asking for a bit of advise. With the help offered I have tweaked my computer the best I can without spending a penny. Some of your advice has definatly made a difference. I now no longer get the boot during game play. Can stay logged in all day. My FR run between 25 and 30, bellieve it or not as high as 35 in the air. Not bad for an old machine. Graphics and sound are quite good. CPU is runnig around 80%. Chaulked up quite a few kills in the last week. I believe I got Joker once or twice, sounded like his cry! Just Jokin with ya Joker!!!!!! . Thanks all! New computer in the works probably Feb sometime. A lot to learn in the game since I left and came back. Dosn't seem as busy as it used to be. Hard to find a good fight sometimes. The squad I was with for the entire life time of the Original Air Warrior has moved to axis ( C-Hawks). Since my rank was saved with the allies I will likley stay there rather than try to rank up from the beggining again. Happy Holidays all!!!!! Cappn

  3. Thanks for the welcome back. When I left my system was already getting to slow for the game, but I managed to still have a good time with success. After returning last week, as you have said there have been many changes. just starting to get my legs back in the game. I have since managed to keep the game from locking up on me with a few tweeks here and there. Was hoping there would be some small things I could do to improve the quality a bit. Xmas on the way, 3 kids and 2 Grand Kids, was hoping to limp along for a bit until I recover from those expenses before dropping 2K on a new puter.
  4. Like i said, all I was looking for was advice from those here that have success in the game. Not insults. My puter was fine 18months ago. Things change in 18mo. I need a new one, so be it. Thanks to those with constructive advise.
  5. Joker Your comments are crap!!! I see why you have over 3000 posts. Easy when all the advice and help you offer is garbage puked from your juvinile thought processes. Don't waste your time or mine with insults. Grow up and come back when you can play with the big boys. See you in the game. When you feel somthing up your @$$ it will be my rifle.
  6. I to have a lousy dial up connection. Took my puter up to my wifes office and plugged into her Hughsnet satelite. The game ran great! have ordered the satelite for the home now. It will be installed Wed.!!!! I will not be useing the dial up, two way satelite.
  7. Just recently started to play again. Im running an AMD Athleon XP Model 1800 (1.53GHz) Radeon 9550, Sound Blaster Audigy 4, 1024MB DDR. With only my ISP connection and The game running my CPU usage is at 99% to 100% usage. Can anyone tell me why or what I can do to lower my usage to keep from locking up and be able to stay in the game longer then 5 min. Thanks Bruce
