  1. Make sure you share any findings you get from Bloo
  2. The 505th is a GHC squad. We have several members in the CoC. As such, our members are obliged to follow orders of the OIC and report to AO where they are needed. As of late, side switching has been dealt with extreme prejudice, and abusive conduct has also resulted in termination of membership. I am not in the GHC, but I find that the people who are to be selfless and amiable. The fact that the Axis for the last several campaigns have been on the defensive means that most GHC members are running around plugging holes and not carefully planning an attack...
  3. Sorry for responding so late, real busy in RL. Have posted on the squad board, will check in later...
  4. One of the most important aspects of this game is cooperation. This is facilitated by squads. The HC's depend on squads to feed the meat grinder and many players have sworn their allegiance to one side or the other. I'm not sure how much of a problem this is but a suggestion has been made that a facility be made in the Squad Tab to allow a the CO to lock the squad to one side. This way all players belonging to the squad would be forced to play for that side. Should a player wish to play for the opposite side, they would need to de-squad. I think this will become more important as squad motifs/badges/flags become visible in-game. I'm not sure but I think Windhund would not want to be seen on the Allied side just as the BKB would not want to be seen on the Axis. We have a policy in our squad, that should you choose to play Allied, you need to advise the CO and not play in our AO. We still occasionally find people not following theses rules. If a player de-squads, there are no rules that bound him from playing how he/she wants. The underlying rule we have is "Why did you join a squad if you wish to lone-wolf". What do you think?

  11. Those who missed the summit can read my report on the 505th Panzer Squad website. I'll be placing it there from now on. Enjoy http://www.505thpanzer.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=979
  12. Snow is melting up in Canada, we'll be coming out of our igloos soon. I'll be making a regular report as a community service. Guess I'll need to keep better notes
  13. I have raised this issue at the Squad Leaders Summit, I think it is a useful if not necessare feature. Unfortunately the old "Squad Roster" html pages are not being maintained and thus are very out-of-date. At present, the ONLY way for you to get at the current roster is through the game (don't forget to click on "Show Off-line" to see all members). Bable has mentioned the possibility of an HTML feed, but unfortunately this is very low on the to-do list...
  14. NP Charlie, Have someone from your squad attend on TS on April 1st. Doesn't have to be a CO. Squad Comm officer will do Not only is it informative, many good ideas that CRS has adopted have come out of this! If you still are not getting the e-mail sent out by Bable, drop me a line and I'll hook you up
