  1. cheers Indo thats great reasurance.I contacted vendor and upgraded the ram to 1633 4x2mb sticks for 45dollars(£equiv) I look forward in the new year to adding a second vid card
  2. cheers Lads ,thx for responding seem like its Good to Go,played ww2online on off for almost 7 years and always been on the margins of decent FPS ,major patches tended to drive me offline for want of a decent frame rates until i could upgrade parts of my 7 year old rig.......this time
  3. out of my price range at moment ,they are the top end ATI cards I guess? took me 16 month out of game to get the dosh for this lot! Did get the ram upgraded to 8 meg 1666 and some additional cooling thrown in free to get the sale Jack

  10. for a box only no more than 500 quid!..but could do with a little less i have a decent monitor dont need any peripherals and have a copy of winxp so its mob/mem/cpu/graphics/network card and a new box with a 600w ps
  11. yep high risk at moment..I dont need a new box for anything but thats why im trying to find something within community that works,someone somewhere in the UK must have a box that works !!!!!

Hi blokes looking for some advice on a new pc box to get an improved performance from setup is over 4 years i have next to nothing in terms of current upto date gear save an xfi sound card If you have an uptodate spec that gives you great ww2online performance id really appreciate you posting it ..and which vendor you purchased from(or the supplier of your Parts) Im well out of the loop these days on what will and wont work for this game and my knowledge of Todays cpus MOBs and mem are limited to say the least! I can get one assembled..but really looking for something mainly off the shelf. Thx In advance Jack
  13. i get no CTHL (now) mines a low end machine 1.7gh athalon 4YO with I gig cheap mem and a 7600 GS is playable just.........just 12-16 town(low troughs at 4-5)...40 ish outta town Totally cleaned up the machine rid of all the background programs /defragged/despyed,follwed all the tips on the forums regd netcode/NT emulation ect Got a CTHL before every 10 mins or so with i can play all day with only a couple Mystifying yep ,but if my garbage can do it ,so can yours
