  1. Nope, but you might want to go check out the Windoz support forum. However, I find I have better performance using the Mac universal client then the windows version. GL.
  2. Happy New Year and welcome back. Brief bug report: 1. Right clicking on the map does not always bring up map options (i.e. HC Options, Chat with player, etc.). However, the 'Report Contact' options always come up. Odd one. 2. French Tanks sound like British tanks when heard from a distance. Close in the sounds are correct. This bug is intermittent. I've filed 2 .report in game about it. They will have locations and times. 3. No way to change tag colors. ....or am I just missing that feature? 4. Cannot alt-tab out of game. Machine Name: MacBook Pro Machine Model: MacBookPro2,2 Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Speed: 2.33 GHz Number Of Processors: 1 Total Number Of Cores: 2 L2 Cache (per processor): 4 MB Memory: 3 GB Bus Speed: 667 MHz Video Card: RadeonX1600 VRAM (Total): 256 MB
  3. Yeah...you're screwed. 1.25 will not work with 10.3. Sorry.
  4. Just a note: FPS numbers mean NOTHING without knowing the parameter settings (i.e. resolution, video settings, etc.) AND the environemnt (i.e. off-line, on-line, empty town, full town with planes, etc.) The only way to really compare FPS is to match settings and go OFF-line. There are too many variables for any other comparison. So.... I get anywhere from 8 fps to 50 fps in towns, on-line with a MacBook Pro. It all depends on the number of ppl in the town and what's happening (i.e. planes bombing, etc.). Also....I haven't seen any animation issues at all.
  5. Works fine on the MacBook Pro 2.33 GHz Intel Core 3 Duo 3 GB ram ATI x1600 256MB FPS is similar to a Dual 2.0 GHz G5 running a x800 video card. All in all not bad. Now I just wish I could alt-tab out of the game and CHANGE THE BLOODY colors of tags in game. S!
  6. Just a suggestion: Delete everything and try to reinstall. Play OFF-Line. And then try to play on-line and go through the 2 updates. GL.
  7. 1. Download the full 300+MB 1.25.0 install. 2. Install it. 3. Attempt to Play Online - You will go through 2 updates (1.25.1 and 1.25.2)
  8. I certainly hope so. I've put the windoz version on my macbook pro. While it runs perfectly fine....it just doesn't look right.... I've messed with the settings for hours, and I just can't get it to look 'correct.' I am pretty much resigned on waiting for the Intel version. Playing on windoz just blows.
  9. Hell. I just want to play on an Intel mac with more than a few fps.
  10. I got my panties all twisted up when I saw this thread had been bumped. I thought, "THIS IS IT! BRING ON THE NEW VERSION!" But no. nothing. nothing but broken dreams. Damn you. Damn you all! ;-) S!
  11. Throw us a bone, beta testers. Hell....lie to us. ...just give us a date. :-)
  12. Mac Pro and MacBook Pro. S! Eagerly waiting to play again. S!
  13. There are some good optimization possibilities there. One interesting note I caught: "Though we saw gains on the Mac Pro with the Radeon X1900 XT, we saw no gains on our MacBook Pro 17" Core Duo with the X1600 Mobility." I don't know a thing about the architecture of WoW or how the MT opengl was coded (or specifically works), but I wonder why the MacBook Pro didn't see any increase....? hmmmm.... Any chance of wwii online utilizing this?
  14. Parra: With the current version of the game (non-universal), you will need to play it under windows....playing wwii online via emulation (i.e. rosetta) is horrible. However, the Rats are working towards a Universal binary. Once that's here, you're iMac should play it just fine (we hope). There are a lot of us waiting....and waiting....and.... it'll be here "soon" ©rats.
