  1. Ok, I have a MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz with 2 GB or RAM and a GeForce 8600M GT. I did have Tiger 10.4.1, but just for this game I spent $120 to get 10.5.6 Leopard. I recently had been out of game for school reasons, and in the summer I decided to resubscribe. Not a week later 1.31 comes out and now this game is unplayable for me. My question is will there be a refund (or a prorated refund) for those of us who just got forced out of the market? On the lowest setting with the Mac on its highest, this game is unplayable to me. Just looking at a town, a field base, or even another player makes me skip uncontrollably, like a bad VHS tape. I have consulted with every Mac person I know and can find no reason why this is happening. I feel as if I was ignored as a Mac person to begin with, since the map bug has existed forever with apparently no cares at CRS. I had no clue 1.31 was coming out (since I was away as I mentioned) and if I had I would not have re-subbed until after I tried it. So where does this leave me?
  2. all of you are indeed correct, but it never hurts to ask.
  3. I have a machine that is less than 3 years old...that is marginal? Or worse yet your customers are marginal? This wasn't meant as an attack on you...but on CRS and playnet. I screamed and .reported and forumed all about the mac map bug and how it really killed enjoyment, and me many times, and yet nothing. So I am sorry that this company can't or doesn't pay you properly, and maybe the info was there, but we are not all programmers. Not to mention it crashes 3 out of 4 loads, thats ridiculous isn't it? I had NO idea that a 8600 in a laptop was 1/2 the power, and no one mentioned it. I DID ask if 1.31 would run on my machine, everyone online answered yes, I unfortunately could not afford 10.5.6 to test it in beta so I had no clue. None the less I can see where this is going so I will write to bloo and see what happens.
  4. I guess I will avoid it by not playing this game...who can afford to upgrade for this crap game anyhow. And no with this game nothing guarantees it will even load, 3 times out of 4, so far, it fails to even load. Is there an real help or is it more just everyone telling me it can't be done?
  5. I have a MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz with 2 GB or RAM and a GeForce 8600M GT. 10.5.6 Leopard. Ok on top of my machine barely able to run this game now, the joystick is no longer recognized even though it says it is. AND I get a crash whenever I try to fly any 109, any allied inf, some Germ inf and most armor. 6. I set everything to the bare min the program will set for, best performance and all.
  7. And CRS has been informing me, but I meet all of their "requirements", and they ignored requests for bug fixes when I was here...I guess I just have the wrong game.
  8. Actually my machine is up to min. Spec. so whats your point? I meet or exceed all the min. Specs
  9. Actually I didnt command anything I asked.
  10. Are you guys gonna pay me for all the days i cant get online in your game? Powers hubs down....now it says i need a patch 13011302.dmg is flawed though and so is the auto DL from in game....just another wasted day that we have to pay for...why release this game for Mac if everyone says thay cant fix the issues? Still cant mark my map...map makes me crash a lot...and FPS is way down since new version, why do I even bother? If it wasnt for all the BS issues this is a great game...at least in concept...so who here handles refunds?
  11. I also CTD 1 out of every 10 0r 15 times I bring up the map, on top of no marking as ML and 1/3 of the FPS I had before the patch...I know the world cares not for Mac users, but I really do love this game...but I will have to give it up if it cannot run well enough to be fun. It did before 1.3.
  12. SO does this mean it is unfixable? I had to get a mac for school, and i got one this good just for this game, now i cant play it is SOO laggy should i just find a new game or what? I mean my MacBookPro 2 ghz cant get much newer. I love this game and seven or eight of my dorm mates were going to sub too, we all have macs though and since 1.29 I can't convince them, the online play is crap now does CRS have a plan or just gonna abandon mac users since we are a small piece. My monthly bill is due and if i cant get a straight answer I would rather not resub, which really sucks during the best time of the year for me to play..holidays. And i feel like i got suckered into this month with the switch happening.
