  1. awesome, ty I'll try it out.
  2. Fairly comfortable, which probably means completely incompetent. I'd be willing to try it if someone knows the tweak. If my computer explodes we'll know it doesn't work anymore.
  3. Is there a way to tweak my system so it'll run the game in windowed mode? I heard a rumor in game that there is, but Google can't find it for me.
  4. Yes i noticed the sound driver too, it's updated now. The crashes started happening before I switched to wireless, and really haven't changed since the switch. Who knows.. The packet loss is more annoying.. hard to track EA when they suddently start flying backwards I'm sure it'll fix itself eventually.. and if not, I'm moving again in a year anyways
  5. Can't keep it up?

Currently running wireless w/ a wireless -N pci card and N router. Cable internet rated at 10Mb/s. Had it wired to the router earlier, didn't see a change when I switched to wireless, but had to switch to achieve Feng shui.
  7. Unfortunately I've got too many variables to consider here.. I was out of game while moving from one city to another when the most recent patch came out. Prior to the patch, I was able to play for hours w/ very little problem.. maybe 1 crash per day, if that. However, now I've finally gotten set up in the new place, obviously with a different internet environment. Nothing has changed software/hardware wise on my computer except for the patch, but now I'm locking up in-game pretty frequently, then getting dumped to the desktop w/ a "connection to host lost". Also, I've noticed a lot of packet loss/ plane warping that I wasn't seeing before, and my TrackIR is acting up in-game - not centering when I hit the center button All of this is new, but I can't swear it's the game, since I didn't play the new patch before packing up and moving. I haven't seen anything official in the forums mentioning new issues from the patch, other than a couple long-running posts, so am just looking to see if it's a known issue. Also, is there a test I can do and report back here so someone smarter w/ computers than I can see if it's something I've done wrong? Thanks, JM
  8. NM I figured it out, it was in keymapper all along.
  9. Trying to get my trackIR 4 pro set up. Profile is active. Can see the heads tracking appropriately on the trackIR program. In game, when I hit free look (N), my trackIR doesn't do anything, but rather the mouse controls free look. How do I change the free look control from mouse to trackIR? I don't see trackIR listed under controllers, and don't see an option in keymapper. Thanks, J
