  1. Is there any way to permanently fix Area 51. It is constantly an issue. More often than not - when you login one side owns all the flags. That or their is no brig to spawn from.
  2. If you could make the mission scope able to be changed after the fact that would be ideal. Many times it is the case that you want to keep the mission under wraps to begin with to maintain element of surprise ... but once that phase is done .... would welcome anyone to join. You can imagine trying to orchestrate blowing a lightly defended fb where they are not initially aware of your precense, or something like that.
  3. All HC moves and cp/ab captures are logged in a database i imagine. Should be able to chronolgically look at sequence of events and clearly see if it is a bug or something else ... no?
  4. I still think a para ML being able to create fms would be fun. And flag on inside of fms is a nice idea.
  5. Oh. I was just reading the sticky and it made it sound that way. Thanks.
  6. Question is ... why did this dll issue crop up just now with this relatively tiny xml client patch? Any clarification on that would be great.
  7. Welcome back
  8. I sure hope that all hands on deck are thrown at getting this into production asap. This above all else has a chance to pump some life into this game .... as it is now it is slowly bleeding out. I hate to think what things will be like in 4 to 5 months from now and we are still talking about this as a hypathetical.
  9. An obvious sumple improvement that can be made. Makes sense to me.
  10. Great post. Looking forward to it .... hope to see it asap as it is badly needed.
  11. Huh. I thought the traverse speed was dependant on the engine RPM's. At a dead stop, it would be harder to rotate than moving in other words. Dead stop i thought i lt was more like a 60 second full turn?
  12. Yes agree. I am starting to wonder that myself.
  13. I wonder how much the 88 kills have decreased since CRS took trucks away from f2p accounts. I suspect quite a bit. Problem of our own making i guess ...
  14. I would welcome side lock for a campaign, if for nothing else .... just as an experiment to try something new. I don't see it as an axis or allied thing. Just another lever to pull to mix it up a bit without changing fundamentals of the game.
  15. Sounds like we mostly agree. I was just pointing out both sides have beefs b/c you made it sound as though it was a one way deal, at least that is what i heard. BTW ... the notion you can move around effictevely at considerable speed, swing and aim and shoot an lmg from the hip is B.S. All of these videos that Axis LMG appologists post show a 250 lb man struggling to stay upright while firing. Almost getting blown backwards. Hardly compelling. But appreciate the effort anyways. And firing a grenade 3 feet away from you at your feet to clear a room and running away totally alive is what i was talking about. Great advantage for that weapon i dare say.
  16. Well then you lost me. There are a ton of examples where things are "nerfed" or not historically accurate on Allied side ... as you probably know already. Maybe you were just trolling though. Axis LMG Axis Grenadier British Grenadier neutered US gets horse *bleep* french cmle 25 blah blah blah blah .... blah. Good day sir
  17. @minky Maybe the game map and tiers need to be rejiggered a bit .... who knows. The problem is always going to be that the French and Brits were routed off the mainland in rather decisive fashion IRL. So .... i am sure that would be the case if all weapon entry points were 100% accurate (in game as well). Problem with that is, the game has victory consitions that dictate that once that happens ... game is over. So. Expand the map as it relates to England. Make the Allied factories reside there, or 2 out of 3 of them at least. Connect more towns across channel. Would certainley make air and naval game more interesting. Then if the Allies get pushed off mainland, they must reestablish foothold once US comes in. Only problem is maps could last forever in a standoff and ground play would be a yawner for periods of time. It would certainly be a predictable opening of every campaign and i wonder how Allied players would react to getting rolled as almost a point of fact.
  18. Asking 15 people to get together and stage a battle seems like a big ask. I mean this isn't intermission we are talking about .... it is campaign play and people are trying to complete an objective. What you are describing sounds like a great use for the training server. I dont blame the players during low pop .... it isnt their fault that the numbers are so depressed that the game mechanics completely break down. It's a CRS problem to solve really.
  19. Tryin to have fun intermission .... why side switch delay, kinda dumb. Just looking to test stuff and this makes it near impossible
  20. Yeah agreed. I guess i could have used the training server, assuming it worked.
  21. Pfft. Shoulda started Friday night if possible. I mean, the busiest night of week we are basically paying for nothing, and just twiddlin thumbs. But whatever ... i get it is a global game, i get it ... just a shame is all.
  22. I for one like no spawn delay as well, i really dont have much of a problem with it. Cap timers can accomplish what u are trying to do and not leave players looking at a spawn screen for 30 seconds ... which is frustrating.
  23. I was mostly just responding to complaints about tier zero allied equipment really. The 4g does have a glass jaw, will agree with you there. However you puting lipstick on the 25mm pig, i am not going to bite on that, it is pretty useless in later tiers. Much more so than pak36.
