  1. The problem isn't too much based on lack of HC,sure we both sides could use more but the new timers mean there is little movement. Yes there are times when both sides have 0 HC on but the biggest problem is the lack of players to actually lead on an AO or DO. Squads are very low on active members and without them you can't plan anything properly, which is why 99% of ao's fail. The ones that do work is down to 0 response on 1 side or just simple overpop on 1 side.
  2. yup agree with this, we could use more players logging in even if it is to show off the new SPAA or tankbusters or cap timers or wait for the new CS tanks but defiantly sooner than later

This is why we play, this is what we have been trying to get back to THIS IS WAR over 1200 recorded kills in the heart of Aarschot in 24 hrs over 2000 at Longwy over 1500 at Orval now that is a hell of a lot better than 43 at brussels ain't it for BOTH sides dig in all, it is going to be a LONG LONG map enjoy the fights win or lose
  5. Yeah but at least when allied used to have an overpop you had more than 7 guys on your side
  6. Problem is when 20 to 30 axis walk into a town and only get to shoot at the tumble weed, 20 towns later they might of already figured out that they are overpopulated and may go for mmm bigger towns maybe like Brussels or cambrai etc

What year did you start playing? 2001 i think forums registered 2003 When was the last time you played ? today What squad were you in? 1st squad was 91st then kgw then 23rd armoured then merged into AEF What side did you primarily play on? started on axis 11k+ kills now mainly allied 50k+ kills after cinc term possibly go axis for a while
  8. yup as Leanderj says we have to submit our next deployments before the end of the current map, but we didn't get any info on a] intermission or straight to next map or b] next map start day / time also the reason I pushed the idea of map130 deployment change to 131 so we have more time to discuss, agree and plan something different and maybe fun

Problem is some towns are spread out way to far for just ab spawning As for inf fru, the old magic army in my pocket was just too daft, if reduced to rifles maybe not but personally prefer truck frus but def prefer the old no fru way, much more teamwork needed but we would need a massive population increase before going near 0 frus again

  12. Map 130 Wow 130 campaigns 130 say it aloud 130, 16 years and still going, now that says a lot not necessarily for the game but for the community, you the players. Out of all of the games I have never found one that we just get so passionate about, nothing that boils your [censored] more or makes you laugh with your friends about something daft or crazy that just happened in game. That’s the point, the game it is a game, it is meant to be fun. Now it has had its ups and downs and is on the verge of something that may sink or swim, we just don’t know yet. The one thing it needs is more players. The map is too large the supply too much for the current population, so with that in mind and not to dwell on any negatives here is what we propose. What we need is more players logging in, pure and simple. I hope this idea will help do just that. Map 130 is not going to be the norm, we want FUN, and that means using everything available to us in game, now I have spoken to the Axis CINC and as the Allied CINC we agree this could be fun, I have mentioned it to the Rats and with their help and a little spin……maybe a little WBS nothing confirmed as yet. The next map 130 deployment is not going to be the usual from either side. We will both have divisions in and around the zees. Why, well instead of rushing to soft cap Longwy or Etain or Leuven or Jodo we want to avoid soft caps from the offset. We want to see a swarm of paras, bombers, fighters, and trucks, transport ships, tanks, Fairmiles and DD's from the words Server unlocked spawning available. Now there will either be an agreement were as “We the Allies” will not cap north of Antwerp for the cut, killing any fun by cutting off the zees, or BOTH sides will just have no divisions south of x town and agree not to go soft capping or move back to a norm line .. UNTILL the zees are won or day x of map 130 is reached and we move back to a somewhat normal line. The details are still to be finalised and agreed but this is what we are thinking of and yes we need you to agree or disagree, the floor is open. It may need to be pushed to Map 131, Map 129 going faster than anticipated but it all depends if you the players want it and how the 2 Sides can agree on the Div deployment with as little enforcement or babysitting as possible Gassault Allied CINC
  13. Yup agreements have never worked in the past, hence it is all down to the deployment to prevent anything or at least movements in 1 direction or another will show up, working on it However we can discuss this throughout map 130 and hopefully we can agree on something for map 131
  14. The main focus for attacks from both sides should be the zees, i can guarantee that from the allied side, until the zees are capped nothing else really matters but yes its the details and mainly the deployment which will prevent 99% of the issues
  15. nope nothing set in stone at all it is just a concept idea which I shared with Allied HC, the rats and Axis CINC but yes BOTH sides would need to agree on the deployment and and on any "agreements" required to not cut north of Antwerp or Give up Antwerp or no air in Antwerp playing around with the deployments to see what would work without crippling either side with as little as possible as to policing and no rat intervention other than a little media spin and possible wbs
  16. its an open vote for ALL players on both sides here not just 1 side, i've already spoken to Leanderj last week before even putting it on the forums anyone can put the poll up but all players need to choose I had originally had just yes or no in there but it looked a bit boring so i put some humor in there, shoot me for not being professional in a forum for a game ?
  17. take the poll comments as a joke just a simple yes or no to the principle that you are or are not interested in the idea its not biased and its not intended to be condescending We all want fun and we all need more players logging in, this concept could increase both even just slightly, just trying to help everyone by using my current state as allied cinc to do all i can to help the game out Its not fun for either side at moment to have the population swing 1 way then the other, no fun being overwhelmed by numbers or to cap empty towns
  18. removing divs in my opinion would just encourage softcaps, that doesn't help the game but promote more avoid the fight and go around no fun in capping empty towns, which is why I came up with this concept of trying to get more logging in and more having fun when logged in. ok going to push the idea to map 131 as there is still not enough response from the players and gives us more time to nail deployment down for both sides to be happy with

Realistic but not practical, let's not look for ways of crippling 1 side or the other, allied no longer start with air in vliss and it is the axis on a normal deployment who get the shorter line, as proved they can spare an entire div to go via Etain to montfaucon regularly, where as we have to ignore south of sedan \ montmedy apart from using navy as cover

That may be realistic but not practical, we cannot afford to have 2 divs off the map when the line is longer than divs can cover normally, we want to try and have fun without crippling 1 side or the other. There is lots to discuss and agree on, as I said it may be more for map 130 as map 129 has moved soon fast. What we need to do is play around with the deployments till both sides are happy an we can do this without too much policing and any rat intervention.
  21. Both sides, the players need to vote on the principle idea if they want it or not. Both cincs are on board for the principle. The details of the deployment will need agreeing to. Giving up Antwerp has been thought of but the deployment will take care of most potential issues, and should require as little policing as possible and no rat intervention at all.
