  1. As stated in another thread, we already have fixes in place and are planning to get them to QA in the next few days. Also, as a reminder, you have the ability to disable HUD Waypoints at any time by going to Preferences -> HUD. I just tested this in game, again, and it seems to work just fine and doesn't re-enable them on respawn. Are you sure you're hitting the "Save" button?
  2. HUD Waypoints can be disabled within your Preferences -> HUD menu. We're looking into a hotkey to disable them while spawned.

  6. @jwilly lol don't get too crazy right off the bat. The introduction of loadouts is planned to start out slow, with just the basics of loadouts with different numbers of bombs or different sizes of bombs. After everything is proven to work as intended with the playerbase, we will progress loadout options further in other releases. @morant That's the plan, eventually we will get there. As I said, we're trying to take things slow with the introduction. HATCH is still working some research and verification for the basic loadouts options for their initial release.
  7. We're hoping within the next few releases to get an initial version of Loadouts out to the players. At this stage, the plan will begin with bombs and possibly fighter/bombers as well but that may change. We have them working but they still need a bit more testing to make sure they are working properly and not breaking other things.

  9. I believe we've got stats working as they should again. Sorry for the long delay in getting them fixed up after the colocation move. As many of you are aware, things have been pretty busy behind the scenes. Everything from the HC Tools and Billing site to the Beta Server and the 64bit client is all being worked on. Let me know if you see any issues with yours or anyone else's stats.

  16. Putting this out there again, players DO NOT NEED TO HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT OR NEED TO LOG INTO PAYPAL in order to pay their account subscription. There is a "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" option which does not need any login to Paypal at all.

  22. As much as it may be a pain in the arse to fully uninstall and reinstall the full game installer it does show progress. The last few times that I recall CRS forcing players to do a full uninstall and reinstall were with the big Terrain release, which hasn't been done in 10+ years, and with the initial launch of 1.36, which was worked on for over a year and something that changed the dynamics of the game play, and finally these last two release. The first being a totally new installer, there were a ton of things that changed and the safest method for installation was a full uninstall/reinstall. We were hoping that the patching builder would be fixed by this recent release but it didn't make it, thus requiring another full installer to be used. All of that said to prove the point of progress and not just small changes of progress. Each of the above releases were considered to be pretty significant. As I said, the safest course of action was for clean installs in order to ensure everyone was on the same page and nothing got corrupt through a patching upgrade. I'm sorry you and others seemed to have issues downloading an 800MB update, which is tiny when compared to other game's updates which often go beyond 2GB let alone the GBs if you needed to do a clean install, and then had issues getting the old version uninstalled and then the new version installed. What should have been mentioned in the public updates was the specific need to do a full uninstall/install and the fact of the 99% download issue but it was missed this go around. We'll strive to keep more open comms with the community in this regard for future releases. We already have another Hotfix planned for release and we do intend for the patching builder to be working for that release. This only applies to PC installers as the Mac players will still need to download the full client.
