  1. In case anyone else was wondering, the Memorial Statues are the City Markers, each city has one. If you look on your map and find a town's name marker, that's where the Memorial will be. It is working, you have to walk up to it, and will be updated in the next patch. The other statues that silversoil mentioned are Builder Statues and they are spread around to different locations for where the specific builder that got one wanted it.
  2. Ya it's a tricky thing with mobile sites and trying to show all the necessary information. With the Account Management Site, you as the user needs to see a lot of tabled information and tables just don't play well with mobile devices.
  3. The hamburger menu issue, on mobile devices, is now fixed.
  4. lol na, it's not because of that I was able to see the same issue with my android. It should be a fairly simple fix.
  5. yay, good work!
  6. The webmap is caught up now, btw
  7. Like B2K said, they are normally up to date but during the intermission a DB connection stopped and didn't start back back up like it should have. We corrected the issue and the data is now catching up. It's going to take a bit for it to catch up...you wouldn't believe how much data gets moved about for this game webmap.wwiionline.com is the official webmap with BGEM being another excellent choice.
  8. I just verified that we have the ability to add this ability to the Squad Tools and allow squads to set their own recruit pruning days. When I get it added, I'll let yall know.
  9. this is ticketed btw
  10. fixed for now
  11. I'd like to hear why you're asking the question at all, what is missing from the homepage that explains what this amazing game is?
  12. from colorado? ps. I'm planning on fixing this tonight
  13. A lot of changes to the Training Tutorials for the upcoming Steam release that will solve these types of issues. For now, just use ".graduate true" if you get stuck within the training tutorials.
  14. Tracking the miss-reporting of the population levels. The webmap gets its info from Wiretap and that gets its info from the game. Some numbers didn't get cleared out properly and thus they are stuck and making the population numbers higher than they should be.
  15. ya, I've been messing with it for the past hour or so and when you do the primary change, it plays havoc with the mouse input as well so it makes things tough. You're little program works for the purpose, it just took some tweaking to get it over to the proper screen. Good Job! ps. i spoke with the DEVs and even though you can actually get the game into a "windowed" mode, it's not draggable so it kinda useless. Something more to add in a ticket about.
  16. an easy route that used to work, can't see why it wouldn't still, is to launch the game then alt tab and then make your second screen the 'primary" within the windows display settings. then launch the second instance and bam, you have it on two screens. I'm sure it could be scripted in order to make it much easier to do but thats the basics.
  17. yup, it's enabled for this campaign.
  18. steam stats and achievements will be comparable or the same to our own reworked stats and achievements on our stats site
  19. As some of you noticed, we've been working on getting a new WWII Online website up and running in order to replace both the battlegroundeurope.com and .net sites. Tonight we were able to make the changeover. We are aware of a few issues, like the second row for the "Support" link at the top of the page on some screens. We expect to have a few other issues with redirects while the kinks get worked out but it should mostly be up and running smoothly. Let us know what you think and what could be better. ps. the site isn't fully "finished". We plan on adding a bit more info/images to the site
  20. negative...did you see the new American Para in UR4? now just imagine cockpits and 6DOF...
  21. I believe I actually fixed Baghdad Bob this evening...hurry up and win the map so that we can confirm it on the live system
  22. Was it easier because you just loaded the community site and then the new articles were just right there in the middle of the screen? The tricky thing with that style of site is that it made it very difficult to "sell" the game to new prospecting players that are coming to the website for the first time or to come find information about the game. That's the reason we had two separate websites for a while, one being the "selling" site and the other being the "community" site. Combining those two into a single sight is a tricky thing do to. I decided to have a specific menu just for the community because you all should be more hardy in finding the information that yall need. We have to have a WWII Online face to the website as a whole. There are the latest articles on the homepage, they are just a few rows down from the top. So if a player doesn't want to navigate over one page, they can just scroll down and see if there was something new posted. Any suggestions?
  23. A few weeks ago I added the categories and the most read stories to the News area. It does make that area look a bit wordy, do you think moving those things down into their own row will help to break up all the words? The wordiness all comes down to how they create the articles, if they do not use any imagery to spice up the intro to the articles, that's all we get. I also added links to the Categories, Featured Articles, and the RSS Feed. I'm not sure if you're aware but the Featured Articles page shows that last five articles that have been highlighted. Also, the RSS feed gives you the ability to get emails sent to you whenever there is a new article posted.
