  1. Insufficient funds....
  2. Putting this out there again, players DO NOT NEED TO HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT OR NEED TO LOG INTO PAYPAL in order to pay their account subscription. There is a "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" option which does not need any login to Paypal at all.
  3. Looks like XOOM responded to this thread:
  4. Not really.............isn't more RATs replying to forum threads...............a good thing?
  5. If you're referring to the thread...... in the Barracks...... go count again......
  6. This was posted by XOOM elsewhere.
  7. Allowing players that don't have the rank or access to multi-crew a higher level vehicle is already possible. They have to be the "crew" and they cannot be the "commander".
  8. It doesn't need to download/install DirectX or the VC libraries each time you install a new version of the game. The only time it's really needed is on the initial (first) installation. There are check boxes on the last page of the installer which you can uncheck which means they will not be downloaded/installed again.
  9. We were hoping that the patching builder would be fixed by this recent release but it didn't make it, thus requiring another full installer to be used. I'm sorry you and others seemed to have issues downloading an 800MB update, which is tiny when compared to other game's updates which often go beyond 2GB let alone the GBs if you needed to do a clean install, and then had issues getting the old version uninstalled and then the new version installed. What should have been mentioned in the public updates was the specific need to do a full uninstall/install and the fact of the 99% download issue but it was missed this go around. We'll strive to keep more open comms with the community in this regard for future releases. We already have another Hotfix planned for release and we do intend for the patching builder to be working for that release. This only applies to PC installers as the Mac players will still need to download the full client. Also, to clear some other things up... As james10 mentioned, the My Documents location which stores keymappings, screenshots and other things is located at: C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\Documents\WWIIOnline Installation location: C:\Program Files (x86)\CRS\WWIIOnline Playgate download location (this is where you would have found your full installer after the "failed download" which could have been ran fine instead of needing to redownload it again): C:\ProgramData\WWIIOnLine
  10. As much as it may be a pain in the arse to fully uninstall and reinstall the full game installer it does show progress. The last few times that I recall CRS forcing players to do a full uninstall and reinstall were with the big Terrain release, which hasn't been done in 10+ years, and with the initial launch of 1.36, which was worked on for over a year and something that changed the dynamics of the game play, and finally these last two release. The first being a totally new installer, there were a ton of things that changed and the safest method for installation was a full uninstall/reinstall. We were hoping that the patching builder would be fixed by this recent release but it didn't make it, thus requiring another full installer to be used. All of that said to prove the point of progress and not just small changes of progress. Each of the above releases were considered to be pretty significant. As I said, the safest course of action was for clean installs in order to ensure everyone was on the same page and nothing got corrupt through a patching upgrade. I'm sorry you and others seemed to have issues downloading an 800MB update, which is tiny when compared to other game's updates which often go beyond 2GB let alone the GBs if you needed to do a clean install, and then had issues getting the old version uninstalled and then the new version installed. 11. Ok, since you want to be a smart arse... You have 3+ AOs in game and those 3+ AOs are on normal towns. What's the average amount of spawnable Facilities, 5-8? Well, you're right back to where we were, 15+ missions to choose from, all mostly empty.
  12. Liege gets AOed, you now have 20 defense missions clogging up the Active Battles tab. A n00b logs in the first time, selects one of the 20 defense missions, spawns in, no one else is on mission to help him. How's that helping the situation?
  13. This is now live in game.
  14. https://www.wwiionline.com/game-news/production-notes/version-1-36-2-0-readme It sounds like you have both the old version and new version of the game installed. Uninstall the `Battleground Europe` version of the game.
  15. I just talked to the team about the issue of being unable to adjust the "green tag" n00b color like you can with Squad Members, Mission Members and Mission Leaders (under the preferences menu). I'll take a look at getting it added to the next release since we are doing it with other tag colors already. The second issue you brought up about the map player icon size is a known issue and has to do with the "scale" settings that you're using for windows. What size monitor, resolution and scale are you currently using? The times I've saw it, and I deal with it as well, is with higher resolution monitors that require a different than 100% scale setting in the Display Settings (right click on the desktop -> Display Settings).
  16. They broke when all of the new Garrisons came into game with 1.36. It's on the long list of things to fix.
  17. The release hasn't happened yet...it's in 30mins.
  18. Someone said, Hangar?
  19. As long as your computer is capable of running two games at the same time, what gretnine's solution works just fine.
  20. Understood, thanks for the feedback.
  21. There's actually two parts to the grey circle. One is the distance that it starts to fade in at, 4km, and the other is the fade itself. It's supposed to represent a "focus" by the pilot looking at an area. This means that the grey circle just doesn't pop up at full brightness immediately, you've got to look at the same area for a few seconds.
  22. For the 10th time, yes we know what the manual says. I also said this, " There's been talk of extending that but I'll let HATCH respond to that.". It was HATCH's call that we not extend the grey circle range beyond 4km. It's also been like this since at or before 2005. If HATCH wants to go into more detail, he will. The in game manual will be updated to reflect the proper distance that the grey circle appears at.
  23. That grey circle disappears at 4km and if you look closely enough, you will still be able to see the little, only a few pixels, of the plane out to 6km.
