  2. Tonight was the first time I CTD at making a FRU. It happened when I reached 100%. It hapened 2x. Here's the log... 3. I don't get any error message. I put in my account and password and it goes to the next screen where it shows campaige (open) and training (offline). I highlite campaige and hit play. The screen goes blank (like it's starting to load the game) and in 2-3 seconds i'm back to my desktop. I even turned off my firewall and still CTD. I don't see an abort.log in the directory.
  4. I just tried again...no go...squadies are in I get the blank (black) screen I always got before...then CTD.
  5. I was getting error 10057 earlier tonight. But now I'm able to log in and it says server is online so I clicked on it. The game seems to start (black screen) but then I get kicked to Desktop. WTF!
  6. I found version 1.84 and loaded it. I get 42 FPS so the problem is 1.20 which I only get a solid 2 FPS. Pretty bad going from 42 to 2 with an update.
  7. I shouldn't have to go searching for this...but here is what I found. Required System Specifications (PC) * Windows XP * 1.2 GHz CPU (2 GHz Recommended) * 512 MB of RAM (1GB Recommended) * 128 MB 3d Video Card (OpenGL v1.2 compliant) * DirectSound-compatibile Audio Card * 32X CD-ROM (installation only) * 56K Modem or with Internet connection (broadband internet connection recommended) * 1GB free hard disc space * DirectX 9.0 or higher (USB joystick recommended) I wish I saw this two months ago...I'd saved $45... BUT, why was I able to play before update? Weird...
  8. Okay it is old. So I fired up my P3-450, 1GB RAM, ATI Radeon 7000 Series 64MB DDR, WinXP Pro. Same as the my laptop...2 FPS steady. I give up..cancelling account.
  9. Is there a tech support phone number to call? If I don't get this fixed, then I'm forced to close my account. Why pay if you can't play...
  10. My Dell 8100 laptop (Dell drivers) always avg. 15-30 fps. Then after the update between 1.19 and 1.20 it took about 5 minutes to log in and I'd get a solid 2 fps. I've tried everything (settings) and still 2 fps. So I started trying different drivers. NVIDA and Microsoft drivers showed a light blue startup screen, not the normal desert color, and when the status bar got to the end the computer would lockup. Now that I just updated to 1.20 I get a solid 4 fps. This is after I adjusted the setting for max preformance. I did uninstall/reinstall this game several times. I even reformated the hard drive asnd reinstalled Windows. I haven't played since Sept 16...fixing to cancel my account. Any help? Win XP Pro GeForce 2 GO 32 MB

  12. Updated to new patch and now the game stops loading when the red progress bar gets to the end. I'll keep reading to see if there's a fix.
