  1. Is this really how the community is now? Oh please forgive me for not remembering wth was in my forum signature 5 years ago
  2. Hey BE Community, Guernica here. Always been fascinated with the whole concept that WW2OL has revolved around, and was a long time player for years and years. I started in 2004 (back in the days of un-enterable forests and 2d trees). The last time I played regularly was before US forces arrived. However, during the few times that Ive logged on during special events, I haven't really seen any change in the game...in YEARS. Other than the introduction of US forces (which really dont offer much diversity from the lend-lease French forces), I fail to see any headway gained in the last 2 or 3 YEARS, and thats very troubling to me. Devs seem to be more focused on revamping small things, like weapon textures/skins/whatever instead of furthering the game. If I'm going to want to get back into the game, its going to require new content, new units, new ideas, new stuff constantly. I dont want to play the same exact game that I played in 2010. Its 5 years later, lets get with the times Rats.
  3. Started playing in 2004? Started with 11th Hussars, then went to 23rd Armored. Still remember some names, Engine2, Pecks, Bullsch, Txfilly....I miss those days. Even got to meet some in person at a little 23rd Convention.
  4. Yeah I have Vista, I've played the game fine, but this is the first time I've had to download a patch. I'll try that.
  5. "Playgate.exe has stopped working: A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." WW2OL website pops up with following message "Unable to connect to the Patch Server. " Unable to post dxdiag due to file being too big, I'm lost!
  6. So I guess that explains why my previous system with a BFG 7800GT-OC video card had no framerate issues while looking at trees?
  7. Bump, I just bought a brand new system and get good FPS finally but have horrible FPS around trees or when viewing them through binoculars. Im running 1680x1050 through a 8500GT PCI-Express Intel Core2 Quad 6600 3GB ram
  8. 23rd Armored is the bestest!
  9. so it works just like adult entertainment websites then......I mean..... *runs away*
  10. Two times in a row now. Spawn SMG...touch table with no radio...game freezes when "querying host" appears. 2nd time, spawn SMG...cap CP. Game freezes when bar reaches 100%.
