  4. to do some decent CAS job? What does my PC require most, memory, vidcard, processor? My vidcard is gf8800gt... rest of my PC is pure shat. Can I build anything good aroudn that or should I upgrade it also?
  5. uh just did some flying in crowded area and tried to do some CAS.. it was impossible, so much stutters and blinking enemy units in and out of sights ..that there was no point, felt like unsubbing that instant. I just hate how game prioritizes objects.. I could see tons of friendlies all the time same time pz I am diving at keeps disappearing and appearing from sights and when dropping bomb I can only hope it materializes again before my bomb hits or its always miss.

  10. ftp just shows empty folder... I unistalled the game as i faced some tech difficulties, like freezing when playing ground.
  11. DIdnt want to go trough and got dropped out in game.
  12. I was using integrated motherboard soundcard... put in my aubigny from my 2nd PC and update drivers... got rid of the most harmfull stutters.. still some but not those evil total lockups anymore.
  13. yeah, I had hardware set.. but it didnt matter if it was on or software, was the suck. I have had real fun 1st time since 1.27 came with CAS over towns

  16. switching visual settings doesnt seem to have any effect on stutters, some increase in FPS, but nothing else.

  19. my game keeps crashing, infact it got much worse sinse 1.24, now most of my longer high intensity sorties end to CTHL.

  22. April 11th. Montreuil, joined the battle from Hesdin with my M10. When I was on my way there situation looked grim and I didnt have too much info on what was happening, so only thing I tought was feasible was to prevent more panzers getting into town and setup little ambush. First I spotted pak38 that was eyeing me.. traversed turret a bit and moment later pak38 its crew were no more. Did take long before next enemies appeared and I began hearing Tiger audios closing in fast, first one was travelling on road at least.. and second one about few hundred meters further behind. First guy(tempest7) made it really easy for me as he sped on road only 300m from me.. exposing his whole flank to me. tsk tsk Once he was done, I looked out for next one(Spitkid's Tiger). I heard him closing in carefully.. so I dared to to reposition my M10 abit so that I would be better hidden. He stopped about 400m away from me, yet he hadnt spotted me, felt like he was watching directly trough me. I wasnt sure if I could take him out frontally even from this range so I witheld my fire. His gun wasnt directly pointed at me so I was think.. not to worry, but suddendly he opened fire, if not me then some other friendly behind me. Immediately I began shelling his gun and turret frontal weak points, I have no idea if they did anything, but last round of 4 land bit right of gun.. and seem to hit seam between turret and hull.. and behold, BOOOOM. There goes turret sky high. Needless to say I was amazed and celebrating! Enemy armor action died down a little after that and I did bit repositioning to cover more ground with my M10. Next contact was lone pak38 that appeared 800m west of me, I had hard time getting my rounds on him.. wasted way too many HE on him. Finally landed APHE round on its crew from side.. nice red splash and prepared to finish him off with my HMG.. but he still kept deploying and undeploying and shooting.. at that point I dreamed from same sort of body armor that those guys had for our ATGs. Luckily friendly inf ran to him and finished him off. Next contacts were 10 minutes same time as pz ews hit full status. First ones to appear were pair of PzIVGs, both them had commanders down... so I didnt whitheld my fire too much in fear of retaliation, 1st one produceds little difficulties because of berm and his speed. but eventually he stopped to look around.. well needless to say. He died ever getting commander up. Second PzIVG didnt see me.. as there were trees between us, but he continued advance still to my great pleasure. Not long later he front appeared from bushes again few shots later he was done for. Shortly after previous I began hearing multiple audios around my perimeter, one bit south of me, two SW of me. Decided that one south of me was greatest threat as it Pz4.. once it came out behind trees I saw that it was PzIVD.. it stopped on open to scan around, mistake. Next I began tracking those two other audios about half a km west of me near T-road. First appeared PzIVD... and died, then PzIIIf bit closer and he died as well. Not long after that other panzer audios disapperared as they were hunted down by our sappers. Ground troops managed to get things under controll back in town and finally AO was removed leaving only single pz ews. I was about to return to base when I began hearing PzIII audio that was advancing slowly, luckily I managed to see glimpse of him between trees and saw to my horror that it was StugIIIG.. and he was heading directly at me. Only thing that I could think of that I had to get away from my position which was very exposed to his direction. So I moved about half km to east behind better berm. Looks like that he heard me as was advancing towards me again, but this time I had better cover... as only barely my gun was over the berm. My first shot made him panic and he tried to flee, took few shots to track him as I had bad angle, tracking made him expose his flank to me, which equals deas Stug. Time to head back to base to finish my second M10 sortie in this war.
