  5. Since 129, I have been getting the BSOD death after playing anywhere from 30 min to 2 hours. Anyone else having this problem? Known fix? It's pretty annoying!
  6. ... what should I do? Current system: AMD 4000+, 2 gig RAM, 8600GTX, TUrtle Beach Montego Sound Card. Biggest problem: Horrendous lag flying over AB's, low FPS rate in major town battles. Suggestions?
  7. Based on what Doc said in other posts about low video card fill rate causing stutters, I am leaning toward a new video card. My current fill rate is 10.8x10^9. For about $160 I think I can get a card with about 4x that fill rate. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814143119 ? Will the 4000+ be the bottleneck?
  8. Sign me up for a hawk if any left. If not i'll go for a 109g if available.
  9. download the new nvidia drivers as well as ntune. gave me a 50% plus fps boost.
  10. Had same issue with 7800GT. Need to download the other nvidia program (ntune) that they suggest. Once I did that my FPS went through the roof and I could change gamma.
  11. Ever since I ran that batch file because of the Playnet server problem I get an error message about a firewall. Is there a fix for the patch that fixed the playnet server ip problem?
  12. Recently switched to a widescreen monitor and noticed I am geting 1) video artifacts when I play the game and 2) my screen goes black and I have to reboot. Using a GFX 7600GT video card. Noticed that he temp when started and during 'normal activities' (web browsin, etc...)is about 55 deg C. When I play the game it goes to 75 deg C. I don't know if that is too high or not Could this temp be the problem? Will reducing resolution help, or is the card not working correctly? Thanks.
  13. that causes video artifacts. See other threads on this forum. Can someone look into fixing? PLEASE!!!!!! Thx.
  14. GPU runs at 55-75 deg C.
