  1. Sign me up for a hawk if any left. If not i'll go for a 109g if available.
  2. download the new nvidia drivers as well as ntune. gave me a 50% plus fps boost.
  3. Had same issue with 7800GT. Need to download the other nvidia program (ntune) that they suggest. Once I did that my FPS went through the roof and I could change gamma.
  4. Ever since I ran that batch file because of the Playnet server problem I get an error message about a firewall. Is there a fix for the patch that fixed the playnet server ip problem?
  5. Recently switched to a widescreen monitor and noticed I am geting 1) video artifacts when I play the game and 2) my screen goes black and I have to reboot. Using a GFX 7600GT video card. Noticed that he temp when started and during 'normal activities' (web browsin, etc...)is about 55 deg C. When I play the game it goes to 75 deg C. I don't know if that is too high or not Could this temp be the problem? Will reducing resolution help, or is the card not working correctly? Thanks.
  6. that causes video artifacts. See other threads on this forum. Can someone look into fixing? PLEASE!!!!!! Thx.
  7. GPU runs at 55-75 deg C.

  11. This is what I am getting. Seems to happen somewhat randomly when I have one instance of the game running although it always happens when I have two instances of the game running. Sometimes more artifacts than this.
  12. what part of diaxdiag do you want to see?
  13. I have a GFX 7600GT and get stuff similar to that at times. It started with 1.27. I have tried downgrading the drivers to no avail. My temp spikes from a normal 5 5deg C to about 70-75 deg C when I play this game. Could that be the problem?
  14. Need to get a sound card. Any suggestions for about 50USD? Thanks!
  15. When I stop moving it. Happens this game only after I switched to a G5 mouse. Reloaded drivers and installed fresh copy of game. No luck Any suggestions?
  16. Did not happen before on the map screen. Sort of tough to click on something when I am trying to select a unit.
  17. Installed a G5 and now the cursor disappears when I stop moving it. Happens only in this game. Any thoughts?
  18. Just installed a G5 mouse. It seems to work OK except in this game. I can see it when it moves but once I stop it disappears, like it gets put in the background. Need help. Any suggestions?
  19. No, it is not. Funny thing though. I originally had this mouse connected up to my computer with no problems. Upgraded to a Logitech G7 wireless with no problems. Gave the G7 to my son, reconnected the G5, updated the drivers and now have this 'disappearing' problem with wwiionline.
  20. Had a Dell but the power supply blew after 2 years. Complete loss. Built my own and I am much happier - better machine for the $.
  21. I think they can not get a US distributor until the game LOOKS better. They need more performance and new game engines. So they are likely waiting until after unity II and Terrain II (or whatever).
  22. I seem to be getting better fps since new patch. Anyone seeing this?
  23. want to reinstall, but cant find config files in playnet folder. are they hidden? whats the name so i can search? thx
