  3. for me it fails to authenticate while loading and after the first CTD it rebooted my comp...that makes a good patch
  4. thx for the link canuk sry for the late reply but i was out of town for a few days i didnt find anything that i would like yet...when ill do ill have a sig good find though with the site
  5. ty bumped into it while looking for a 4g pic with romanian sign on it for my sig....thought i need one after 4 years hehehe
  6. Iassy - Khisinev offensive August 1944 good read I found by mistake on a history forum maps included http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=73749&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a
  7. had same problem after my new build the culprit was the bad timing on ddr3s as the SPD was crap and detected the timings wrong tinkered with them quite a bit and now everything is smooth and stable
  8. all my problems got solved once i finally managed to get my ddr3 timings and voltage correct as the SPD was crap for them anyways if you have ddr3 memory and intel dx48bt2 mobo you have to play around alot with them untill you stop the crashes and reboots prolly its the same for other mobos with ddr3 but thats what i got and i definately fixed it no more nvidia driver crashing in vista 64 either my ram was ocz4k1600 something i wont be home for the next 4 weeks so i dont remember my exact settings but i know i had to change almoust everything in the memory setup if anyone fits this stuff post here and ill ask my bro at home to check the settings and send them to me here so i can post them hope this helps someone as its so much of an annoyance if its not working
  9. yeah its possible one of the rats need to do it but its doable...had the same thing happening a while ago
  10. get a HP 1020us had one for a month or so and it really went smooth with the game and not only that with 9600gt 512mb dedicated 4gb of ram and intel proc its about all you want 1500usd in the usa
  11. much more reliable still crashes the same way but it resists much more playing time and multiple alt+tabs without problems for shore that vista aero or whatever is ghey
  12. 1 hr no crash yet *^&^%^$ windows vista theme with all its transparency shat think this might be the culprit i jsut changed to windows classic and seems ok for 1 hr will post if things change
  13. they got new driver out 178.13 but still same shat at least i definately got the memory times right as i tried to play for 3-4hrs yesterday and never got any blue screen but only the nvidia driver stopped functioning and recovered error so its the only thing left wrong i tried with vert sync on and off and still it crashes
  14. ive got this 98 driver from 3dguru site also anyways i think i solved the blue screens by getting the timers right on the ram thingie is that my mobo is shat with SPD memory so i had to manually set them back when i bought the mobo it didnt support 1600mhz ddr3 but after the latest bios it dupport it now i have it as per intel site regarding compatible ocz memory like mine 400mhz base freq 1600 mhz 8-8-8-24@1.70v (which is what actually my memory says it is in the specs) and no more blue screens the SPD detected the memory as (by setting it as Auto) 1333mhz 7-7-7-20@1.54v now everything looks stable, no more hangs on suspended etc etc what im left with is nvidia driver crashes and recovery but the game is bye bye any option but waiting for the magic driver update?
  15. i did the the ram with memtest about 2 month before when i just built the system and ran into same problems 18hrs or so of memtesting no errors found i can do it again but i doubt i will find anything
