  3. Any chance of ditching timers over 30 seconds? 64 seconds really? This is essentially giving the finger to casual gamers. If we have the Voldemort death marks, do we need to have player driven spotting marks, it is much easier to die and give exact coordinates? Well inspite of the worst addition in over 9 years (f'n almost make me want to quit death marks), the game is great, keep up the good work. I hope you don't spend much time making the new models pretty, get them in the game so they function, and use them to add real load outs! I can't wait! (getting rid of death marks would help me wait)
  4. Thanks Vodka, I will definately be running 1920 x 1200, so I think it will have to be the 470.
  5. I have been looking at a gtx 470 for $280 new, a gtx 260 from a friend for $100 and a nice 1GB oc'd 250gts for $125 new... I tend to think the good deal is my friends 260, but I have heard that the 1GB RAM is important for the game. Any suggestions?
  6. Needs better drivers? Gateway P-7811FX Intel® Core2 Duo CPU P8400 @ 2.26GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.3GHz 4066MB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTS 512ddr3 dedicated (driver 7.15.0011.7615 (English)) Vista x64 or 32 no xp support 17" 1920x1200 I am getting a strange problem with the sky. When I look out of a building, vehicle or binoculars the sky burns white. I have been reading the forums and havn't found a fix for it yet. The laptop is speedy and is almost as fast as my main machine. It is a good box. Better features than I have ever seen in a laptop, keyboard rocks, screen is solid, video is outstanding, OS disk with both 32 and 64 Vista without any of the Gateway junk is included. It should play fine, but If it can't play Battleground Europe (wwiionline) it is going back!
  7. More detail, from inside a building, vehicle or binoculars, the sky becomes hot white. I have gamma correction turned off.
  8. What is the issue with the 9800? I have a 9800m gts and I get a crazy sky. Nothing I have done has fixed it. My driver is ver 7.15.11.7615. I removed vista 64... and installed 32. I havn't found ample drivers for XP. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 10/18/2008, 19:00:24 Machine name: SAM-PC Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home 9. Willing to send in filemon logs of WWII specific activities (they seemed interesting) perfmon whatever... CTD both Game and Training
  10. Bucholtz - has tried to re-sign up but can't get anywhere with CRS for some reason. He wants to rejoin, but he doesn't want a new accound, and he definately wants HIS name. Any suggestions? He was one of those guys who started playing WWIIOL in June 2001 with me and like me he left... came back for a short time, then tried to come back to try paratroopers... Well that failed (because he moved?) and he is thinking that CRS doesn't give a hoot. He is an avid flight sim guy and a friend.
