I can't tell exactly what chipset your motherboard has, but it looks to be either the nForce 570 or nForce 590 (you can find out the exact model by running CPU-Z). The date on your NVIDIA nForce 590/570/550 Serial ATA Controller doesn't match the date of the latest driver for either chipset, so you'll probably want to update that driver to be sure. You can find the nForce drivers for the above two options at the below links. If a different chipset is displayed by CPU-Z, you can locate the proper driver at nVidia's driver download page.

my motherborad is a 680i SLI

i updated the drivers

and tried the game again and i got a FPS of 9

i even tried to run the game in a lower res. but to no avail.

any other suggestions

the set up i have seems fine. Everything else on my PC works like a charm.

I have alwas intended to up grade my ram to 2 gig's instead of the 1 gig i have now. Even if this addtion ram doubles my fps it would only be 18-20 fps and that no good.

Sorry, I'm out of ideas here. Have you submitted a support ticket? You should be getting great FPS on that rig, so maybe one of the Rats can figure out the root cause of your low FPS. Bloo will ask for your full DxDiag info, so you might as well attach it to your ticket when you first submit it.

first i want thank you guys for looking at this.

yes those are the drivers i downloaded and installed.

as far as a trouble ticket goes i don't understand what you mean. I thought this is where i was supposed to go if i had trouble

I don't think there is much more i can think of , I have updated my audio, video, and motherboard drivers. i have scanned through the forums and looked for other things to try.

again ,, i am new to the game. i just started my 14 day free trail. while my fps (blows chunks) i kinda liked the game. I suppose it will be better with a decent FPS.

a couple of questions for u guys if u dont mind

number 1

based on my computer set up ,what would u think my FPS would be?

number 2

do you think it is possible that my computer is actually to fast and the game is conflicting, battling over speed or something?

Number 3

do you think i should uninstall the game and then reinstall it?

and if i do that would that affect my free trail?

number 4 and (i thin the most important)

do you think there is answer to all this?

number 5

where is this support ticket place you are talking about?

This is the first place you should go if you are having trouble, but none of us work for CRS. To submit a support ticket, go to [/url=http://support.playnet.com/support/faq.psp]the official support pages and follow the links until you see the option "I want to submit my problem". Bloo knows more about how the game works than most of us here, and can get information from the programmers.

number 1

based on my computer set up ,what would u think my FPS would be?

It's hard to say, there are too many variables to give you an accurate range. I would expect something in the 30 to 50 range at least, though.

number 2

do you think it is possible that my computer is actually to fast and the game is conflicting, battling over speed or something?

That's unlikely, I think.

Number 3

do you think i should uninstall the game and then reinstall it?

and if i do that would that affect my free trail?

That may help, and is worth trying. Your free trial won't be affected.

number 4 and (i thin the most important)

do you think there is answer to all this?

Absolutely. As far as I know, most people with a rig similar to yours are getting good frame rates.

here is what i was thinking off a while back finally found that thread.

Well Dxdiag reports issues with the network connectivity.

HR2game.exe is a game called Hotrod Garage and searching on google people with simular nasty problems to their computers is being reported.

It could be a malware or trojan but Im unsure about this. Seems like it doesnt help unistalling Hotrod Garage.

The only thing expect uninstalling that game is to search the registry for hr2game and kill all registry entries to it. But thats my guess. If that doesnt fix it, Id go and format/reinstall windows.

here is the link so you can read the whole thing.

first i would like to thank you for tring so hard.

i doubled checks the Nvidia sight u were talking about to update my morther board and it is where i got my drivers from

at this point i have

1) updated my video drivers

2) updated my audio drivers

3) updated my motherboard drivers

4) turned threading off on my video card

5) turned off water reflaction

6) uninstalled the game (using add and delete programs in my control panel)

7) reinstalled the game (btw when i went to play again all my setting where set were i left them. So I am assuming whe you un-install the game there is something left somwhere. if this is the case could there lie the problem)

i tried th game again , and i get about an 8-12 in day time play wich will probly be a 4-8 in nighttime play

to answer the question about the hr2game . I have never played it or downloaded it. as amatter of fact this PC is only 2 months old

i run XP pro

I have microsoft office and

no other games other then WW2on line

I have COD2 wich runs fine with up to 90-100FPS in direct X 9

To find out if it's sound related...

Launch the game

Go into the Settings tab

Select Sound System

Set sound system to disabled

Save changed

(exit and restart)

See if you can reproduce the issue. If not, then it's very likely sound related.

If so, then it's very likely not sound related.

It's hard to say' date=' there are too many variables to give you an accurate range. I would expect something in the 30 to 50 range at least, though.[/quote'] Quite a bit more than that I should think. With an 8800GTS and slightly faster Core 2 Duo I get 70-100 fps at 2520x1600x32. At lower resolutions it would be off the scale. However 1GB of RAM is not really enough and probably won't help.

One thing the OP needs to try is the things mentioned in this post:

http://forums.battlegroundeurope.com/showthread.php?t=159867

It affects dual core processors and can produce those kind of low frame rates. if I don't set the processor affinity for example, my frame rate sometimes drops to single figures. It's a known problem with the game and may or may not be related to the other thing, switching off thread optimization in the nVidia control panel.

Excellent advice through this thread fellas!

I just sent this to BigEd, but thought it might be useful for anyone else viewing this thread. Don't know if it is the issue with any degree of certainty at all, but with the inklings that this might be sound related, and since Realtek is...well...RealTek,

This process was running on BigEd's system:

RTHDCPL.exe 2564 Console 0 1,568 K Running D4\Ed 0:00:01 N/A

This may be the problem. It is a the Realtek HD Audio Control Panel,

which will effect your sound. Microsoft has reported some potential

problems with this here:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935448/

They've also listed three possible ways to fix it (though one is for IT professionals), if it is indeed the issue. The first method to try is this:

Method 1: Install update 935448 by using Automatic Updates or by using Microsoft Update

To use Microsoft Update, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate

Failing that, the other method:

Method 3: Install update 935448 from the Microsoft Download Center

The following file is available for download from the Microsoft Download Center:

LOL, appaentrly suport ticks got to be small , so here is my replay to the support ticket

as for most of the programs you had mentions . I do normally turn them off when i try to play. I reallyy think it is some kind of driver issue. even when i try to lower myu res. i get the same fps. which leads me to belive it is a game to hardware issue.(i am not sure) thats why we are talking.

right now as we stand i had completly deleted the game as per ramsey40's instruction (btw he has tried like a sun of a gun) I tried to reinstall the game tody and no luck with the install

after downloading the installtion

wwiiol12561260.exe

it started to load then i got this

error ( C:\playarc.w2s could not open)

thats it then it stopped

So i dilligently went back to the website http://www.battleground-europe.com/scripts/wwiionline/downloads.jsp

clicked on PC version and then got this alert

550/wwiiol12561260.exe no such file on directory

thanks in advance

i am not gunna throw in the towel yet but i have to say i have pulled it out of my draw (lol)
