Should be about 1-2 mins on a system that meets the specs.

Can you post your dxdiag file for us to take a look at your config?

Start-Run-cmd-dxdiag

Then save to file and post the text here (or attach as a zip file)

Heh,

In windows you have an application called dxdiag.exe, it is a system level diagnostic utility that can output all your system specs to a file, for us to see.

so you run from your windows desktop

Start-Run-cmd-dxdiag

Start button, then click run, then in the box type cmd and hit enter. This will bring up a black dos window. At the prompt, type dxdiag and hit return.

This will start the dxdiag application, on the main tab you will see "save to file" save it as something like "mydxdiag.txt".

Then, open it up in notepad by going to start, accessories, and click notepad. Then File, open and select the file from where ever you saved it.

This will bring up a text file with all your system specs. Paste it into a post here so we can see your system specs and figure out why you're hanging on load.

It may take a few posts to paste it all in, just create a new post in this thread for each section.

Just copy paste each section in a new post (5-6 of them in this thread) it;s the normal way we do it, it's not flooding.

Okay, couple of quick things..

First

Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 1 (2600.xpsp2.050301-1526)

You should update to win Service pack 2.

Second

Make sure in your ww2ol setting you have selected the video car and sound card by their names, not "default driver"

Third

Your video driver is 6.14., kinda old, they're up to 8.someting now, go to intel.com and dl the latest video driver for your system

Lastly

try lowing your resolution to 800x600x32 and also try to load game off-line and see if it loads. if it loads off-line but not on-line, it's a different solution path.

You don't have a video card --you have an intergrated chip.

Since the chip is using system ram, not enough physical memory either.

If on-board chips worked for games, people won't be buying $200-$700. video cards.

A $40. fx5200 would run this game, just not well.

Bottom line is you meet the minimum specs, just barely. If you get a video card it'd help a lot.

Service pack 2 is available from microsoft, click through your auto - update menu items and it may help.

ok i am getting service pack 2 as i am typing :P lol ty hopefully it will help :P

It will help tremendously.

Hey, don't get discouraged. The latest patch threwe many of us off a bit, it's a dynamite sim, unlike any other MMORPG out there. Hang in there, it's worth the hassle.

One last thing to try also, right click both the shortcut on your desktop and the ww2.exe executable in c:\crs\......\ww2.exe and set it wo windows NT compatability (2nd tab)

This shoud also helpl

the last thing you said i didnt understand about the shortcuts

It will help on xp if you run the game in "NT Compatability mode"

Here's how you do that.

Click on my computer, when it opens select c: drive (or whatever drive you installed on, default is c:) The click into the Program files folder then the CRS folder. lastly, click into the battleground europe folder.

In here you will see the files that make the game run. Find ww2.exe (in icon view it will only show ww2 and be listed as an application, you may not see the ".exe")

Right click on this and click properties, then select the third tab at the top "Compatability".

Click on the little box that says "run this program in compatability mode for.." and it will enable the selection box below it. Choose windows NT, then save.

Repeat this process if you also placed a shortcut to launch the game on your desktop for the desktop icon.
