I need a good computer, should I get a xp system, they're kinda hard to find...

I would really like to get a new computer and I don't have alot of money, ww2online is the fun game I like to play, but I only have about $800 to spend, kind of afraid to get windows vista because I understand it doesn't work with ww2online  . If i could go to a site and build a computer from the site so i could just get the essential needed parts without wasting money on features I don't need , and get xp instead of vista , I would be happy...

please supply me some good links, Thank you!

build one.....its cheap. Id also recommend XP over Vista. Vista is really slow and takes a really high end machine to run it.

go to www.newegg.com

Good retail parts vendor, very good return policies etc.

Prices not bad for retail.

Lazyboy had a good outline for a pc from newegg parts if you want to start from there

Do you have kind of any idea of what you want hardware wise?

Also do you already have windowsXP on a normal installation disc?

The ww2 poverty upgrade kit. $500

http://forums.battlegroundeurope.com/showthread.php?t=208145

You could sub this video card and bring the price down even more. This is a pretty good card for ww2 for the price.

ATI 2900gt 256meg $130

If you got some more money to throw at it I'd upgrade the cpu to an e6750 if you can swing it.

The e2160 is good but it's intended to overclock and if you're not ready for that, which is easy BTW, you could go for a higher end cpu. You'd still be well under $800. You could even add a hard drive and a copy of windows xp.
