Why hasn't there been a response from CRS?

At least a generic "We are working on isolating the problem" message would show us you're looking into it.

Had the problem with my new notebook (Vista 32 SP1 and Geforce 9200) fresh from factory.

I tried spawning an infantery, it crashed, i tried a plane and there were some strange white artefacts. It crashed when i looked left.

The problem was resolved installing SP2 and latest driver for the graphics card.

Thank you.

I paid a Nerd to check every thing. He couldn't find anything wrong. He tested the bit per second from my net server, I get the 50+ bps I pay for. Even had him play the game until it crashed! According to him it's happening from Playnet's end.

BTW.. my sound card is the standard Realtec HD that came with the system. Please solve this, it's ruining the game. It's happening to a lot of people at the most critical part of missions!

This happens (usually) a short time after I spawn in. My computer just returns to desktop. It doesn't crash the whole system, just the game.

I've tried rebooting but that doesn't solve anything for this problem. I had bps turned up by my net provider and managed to get a few more fps and a LOT less lag. But the ctd is on your end I think.

I'm running an iMac running XP. This problem did not occur until the 1.3x update and it happens at least 50% of the time. The CTD seems to occur mostly when there is a screen update ie Facility Captured, New Leader, etc. I also get the Out of Memory error from time to time.

I have this problem It happens with all unit types it happens at all locations it happens online but i do not no how to access offline. I did not download the game i baught the disk of Amazon. My operating system is Windows XP home edition my CPU Toshiba Mobile Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.06GHz my computer has 1.25gb of RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon 9600/9700 series, our drivers are not up to date. We are not sure how to find the rest of this info. Here is how it crashes:

When i spawn the first time it works but then when i spawn again or indeed somtimes 3rd of 4th time that is when it happens. I hear the sound of my feet hitting the spawn point in the game but the loading screen dosnt go away. In the backround i hear the sound an error message makes but i cannont acess it for the computer has crashed if i try and minimise the game to see it my screen becomes cloged up with thousands of error messages but you can not see the texst because it is blocked up with other messages:mad: i try alt hold delete i try evreything but nothing works so i end up manually re-booting the computer. I cant keep doing this because my 30 day trial is running out. Other things are that in game many things turn yellow when the get close enough the sky turns yellow somtimes the trees turn yellow the bushes turn yellow the grass turns yellow my hud turns yellow thus not letting me see my map. it depends though which direction i am facing. I would like to know if there is a way i dont have to despawn to respawn. i mean when i die i dont press escape and despawn i just say respawn the at the place i died after 20 10 seconds or so. If that happens i would not have to load anything thus no computer crashing! please help because i cant play the game with the dang bug:mad:

Thanks for lisining hope it helps!

i'm not allowed to edit post above anymore so i'll make a new reply:

i managed to solve my problem simply by going to the NVDIA website and downloading the latest driver for my graphics card.

to all people experiencing similar problems, please try that too.

thank you.

Everything was working fine yesterday but today my game locks up after about 10 seconds every time. If I let it sit for a min more it says “connection to host lost”

In addition no packet makers are present ad my FPS are as high as though I was in off line mode. (Around 60 fps and not 30-40 when I’m online.)

1) XP

2) AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core Processor 4600+ 2.41Ghz

3) 3.25 GB

4) NVidia GeForce 8800 GTX

4a) 768 MB

4b) Last update one month ago

5) Only online

6) Yes

7) I tried about 6 different locations and they all cause me to CTD

I have turned off my fire wall and reinstalled WWII online and I’m still having this issue.

Yeah, after pounding away at this issue for 3 hours I gave up. I tried just about every suggestion I could find in the forms. Now this morning it's working like nothing is wrong so I'm guessing it might be my innernet connection for me at least. I ran a test last night and this morning and my ping is about 4 times lower now than it was before.

for me it seems to be some sort of network related CTD. I'm running without the netcode or sse stuff too, but I CTD when i go near a town with heavy fighting. whole game just bombs to desktop and when i login again all sides are red and i have to login a second time before the game will let me start.

I ran fine monday for 4 hours, but tonight i fancied going somewhere busier and either flying or spawning into or around ciney means i just CTD.

I'm running XP, with an nvidia 7800 gtx and have patched windows, latest graphic and sound drivers.

I'm seeing some confusion here.

CTD This is crash to desktop meaning the game just suddenly stopped running and you are looking at your computer desktop.

CTHL This is connection to host lost and what happens is the game locks then you get a popup saying "Connection to Host Lost"

These are 2 totaly different issues.

Perhaps the rats should change the term for CTHL to something different cause it seems many are confuseing the 2.

Maybe change CTHL to GHCL (game host connection lost).....Might help seperate these 2 dift probs.

Just a quick update: After underclocking my videocard (NVidia 3700m) I am now able to play the game for more than 5 minutes. First clue was being able to play on battery only.

It required my to lower Pixel shader clock (?) from 1.3ghz to 1ghz using ntune.
