Well, if nothing works for you guys, I really suggest you to reinstall all the game + playgate.

Sounds bad I know but the trick was really fast. It took me around 15 minutes to do it (+track IR btw) so it's really quick, worth it IMO.

I have reinstalled Playgate and Battleground Europe 3 times now, including the document in my documents and the actual folder after uninstalling... to no avail. :mad:

I've tried flushing DNS, Updating the Shortcut and it seemed to work Christmas day by setting the Connection to "Primary". Today it doesn't work at all. ISP is ATT&T DSL (Fort Worth)

Thank you for running Checknets. That shows that your firewall is open to connect to our game server.

We are not sure why so many are still unable to reach our authentication server with the game. We would greatly appreciate more information from you in the form of traceroutes so we can investigate if there are an ISP issues contributing to this problem.

To generate a Traceroute, please follow these steps:

1. Go to Start -> Run

2. type "Command" and press "Enter"

3. type "tracert auth.playnet.com"

This should return:

Tracing route to auth.playnet.com [66/28.224.240]

over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 x ms x ms x ms ###.###.###.###

2 y ms y ms y ms ###.###.###.###

And so on.

Once it reaches our firewall, it will start to look like this:

10 * * * something.demarc.playnet.cogent

Don't worry about that.

4. Right-click anywhere in the window and choose Select All.

5. Then Copy.

6. Then Paste into a post here.

OK , this is enough, i have gone thru a whole bunch of crap over the last few months, my subsrciption is up in 4 days.

I NEED THIS FIXED NOW !

I have not been able to get in on this computer since the patch for 1.29

have done all the stuff recomended, reloaded the patch ( up grade ). then reloaded the entire game and update. i can't get past the error page. ''login error report "

have changed the KFFSI

i played after 1.29 the the problem loging in was only once in about every 3 tries, now it is impossible

sorry i select all, it then has no option to copy thus i can't paste, when i run it looks kind of like this :

etc, etc allowed it to go to 22 lines still timed out

i have done all the other stuff listed and no help, this started after the patch to 1.29. my system has Vista but have played after 1.29 but not after patch, can't get past login error page. please help ,i have removed and reloaded the game and patch 2 times. email at mayorwuz@hotmail.com

disabled the administrator controls in the computer and it works but still must try loging in 2-3 times to get past the error.

this is still not the right solution,someone could get into my computer.

it's wrote please check your firewall: network access failed and the problem dont come from my firewall cause i shut it down decades ago:D . Im doing everything i can like

Mine works, but only after 10 - 100+ times of clicking on it... which isn't so bad when you line it up beside your browser.

Just resubed after an 8 month absence and oh boy do I remember why I quit in the first place !!!!

Cant get the damn game to work, tried ALL the suggestions and still no luck, am trying to download the full game again, from the main page getting started section and it times out anywhere between 10% and 90%, have sat here all afternoon and must have tried 30+ times.

Come on CRS, people are paying good money for this game and were getting a crock of crap !!

Thank god I only resubed for 1 month.

We are not sure why so many are still unable to reach our authentication server with the game. We would greatly appreciate more information from you in the form of traceroutes so we can investigate if there are an ISP issues contributing to this problem.

Why the hell am I still paying for this game? This problem has been ongoing ever since the patch.

To generate a Traceroute, please follow these steps:

1. Go to Start -> Run

2. type "Command" and press "Enter"

3. type "tracert auth.playnet.com"

This should return:

over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 x ms x ms x ms ###.###.###.###

2 y ms y ms y ms ###.###.###.###

And so on.

Once it reaches our firewall, it will start to look like this:

Don't worry about that.

4. Right-click anywhere in the window and choose Select All.

5. Then Copy.

6. Then Paste into a post here.
