Recent Authentication Problem

I installed the 1.30 update, but when I click practice offline, I see the little black box for a split second, then it looks *** if it is going to start with a black screen, but then goes back to desktop. Any ideas?

Wierd thing is, I can log into playgate and everything. It says training server's offlnie but game server's online. But when I click Play!, it pretends to start, but then goes right back to desktop like I posted above. Here's what my check net said, probably wont help though since I think my problem is somehow hardware related? The pretending to start then not starting thing? Here's checknet:

need to look at this post KFS made all. ^^

No need to rush to judgement about if the server was down. Take a look at the time the test was run and that should clear up that the server WAS online when the test was run.

I can login and load the game, but when it comes to choosing a side I cannot click on OK at the screen that has the message of the day and the poll of the day. When I click on OK nothing happens and I cannot clear the screen to choose a side.

I still cant get the game to work. I do get to press "play" in the screen goes dark, but seconds later it jumps back to desktop screen.

Will CRS make a patch that will concern this issue? I know some here arent PC-heroes, that includes me.

Does the newest full install include the wrong playgate? Could there be a Full install with the right Playgate?

Oh, it works now

Must have been flushdns

I also deleted all old entries and all files that were even vaguely ww2 files, except Screenshots. Maybe lost some keymappers, but I use default keys anyways :D

chtl problems again,can't connect web page, game server,forums. every 5 minute connection lost. it's boring.

I can log in then about 2-3 minutes into playing it boots me out saying I have lost connection sometimes it just boots me out. But this doesn't happen all the time some times it is fine. How do I sort this out.

Gdy,

I have been unable to play since this latest patch. Game loads but will not authenticate.

Have tried all ideas from forums but no good. Have left a ticket but as of yet no reply.

Can anyone help.

with the new patch i can no longer get it to game. playgate loads no problem to show game world online i click to play and i then get Authentication Failed i ran checknet to see if i was connecting but i got a failure so i turned off my fire walls even though i do not like the idea and tried again still a NO GO and then ran checknet again and got the same results WITH FIRE WALLS TURNED OFF

pretty sad that this problem started more than half a year ago and players are still having trouble with it. I never had this issue until a couple weeks ago. Nothing seems to fix it and this has obviously been a problem for a long time. :( Would be nice if the first post update thing was more simplified for us non computer genius types. Or if CRS would just fix it themselves.

Never had a problem before. Both computers access internet no problem. No firewall or network issues on my end (I am a network design engineer for a tier 1 carrier). Getting all the way to Dallas and then it craps out.

Ignore me. I dum. I mean dumb. uninstalled, reinstalled and had one outdated audio driver and works fine now.:)
