I am running an HD2400 with the latest ATI driver and since the latest update I have not had one CTD. Before the patch of 1.30 (latest one) I crashed about every hour so whatever you did you fixed it for me!!

Tried 9.8 drivers.

Locked up instantly on spawn in on live server, locked up after 2 minutes or so offline.

Both times, CPU was pegged at 100% (well 100% of whatever core it was on) and game became unresponsive.

Sounds continued to loop. No error logs were produced.

Disabled ATI Overdrive, ran around for quite a while offline without issue.

Worked fine with 9.3 with Overdrive enabled and higher clocks than I had set running the 9.8 drivers.

Vista 32 bit, XFX Radeon 4850.

Played for an hour and a half tonight with 9.8 drivers, no crashes, air inf and sea. I'll re-enable overdrive tomorrow and see if the crashing resumes.

I ran 8.10 ever since I had the problem with running anti-aliasing but I

recently updated to 9.7 and it's been working well. No problems with

running it so far.

Juts re-subbed; have constant "out of memory errors".

WinXP SP3

4 GB RAM

Gigabyte MB w 7750BE

ATI 4850 with CAT 9.9; going to try 9.7.

Won't resub for long if this keeps up.

Removed all ATI drivers from system including SB750 Catalyst drivers. I then reinstalled just the CAT 9.7 drivers for the 4850 video card. Have played for the last 2-3 hrs w/o and issue.

My Gigabyte MB has an embedded ATI 3300 video card in it; that is what the SB drivers are for. I'm not using the embedded ATI 3300 so I don't need the drivers.

Will try this for a few weeks and then for kicks install some SB drivers to see if something happens.

Can't find 9.7 for XP32/XP64,sorry.

Note: Before you install 9.7 you have to uninstall everything from ATI Catalyst, restart, install the new drivers, restart again.:)

You can find most of the past and present gForce and ATI beta and

official drivers at guru3d.com

Go to download and then pick the ATI 32 or 64 bit.
