274 posts in this topic

S!

19 Squadron is a new Spitfire Squadron promoting teamwork, comms and FUN! Any GMT/Euro timezone Spitfire pilots that are looking for a break from lone-wolfing/ getting gang-banged by the Luftwaffe are welcome to join us! you can check out our statement of intent here!

Squad nights will provisionally be Thursday 21:00 BST (20:00 GMT). All skill levels are welcome, even if you have never dared lift into the sky! Once we are up and running we can organise training sessions to work on our tactics or to get recruits up to speed.

Here is your chance to get in on the ground level, and be a founder member - and help make 19 Squadron a feared name amongst the JG's!

If you are interested, or want to know more, pm me in here or in-game or drop by our forum. There are a few guys interested at the moment, but the Squadron has yet to be given 'official' status in game, so we still need some numbers to come together and get us started.

Look forward to flying with you!

Thursday Night is Squad night for 19 RAF!

Don't go dancing, only ugly girls go out on a thursday night...

ugly4.jpg

Stay in, come along to the Allied side, bring a spitfire and join us on TS for some '109 spanking' fun.

Pm me in game to join!

We do crazy things like -

  • fly to target in formation!
  • Watch each others backs!
  • use TS and comms to stay alive!
  • avoid the conga lines - we grab altitude before entering target!
  • shoot down the luftwaffe before they shoot us down! (most of the time)

if that sounds like your bag, come along - we start between 20:00 and 21:00 UK time (currently GMT + 1) and fly until everyone goes to bed!

pm me in game for more details! (or click on the sig to see our groovy website)

Squad Night 27 Sept...

Trade was quiet over the town, and heading out north east F/Sgt Speedy77 saw a low bogey that turned out to be a Ju-87. Sgt Dojo was lagging behind, and while F/Sgt Speedy77 bounced the Ju-87, Sgt Dojo spotted 4 bogeys coming in from the east of Valenciennes. They were identified as 2 more Stukas and 2 109 escorts.

Whilst F/Sgt Speedy despatched the Stuka, setting it on fire, Sgt Dojo bravely engaged the other 4 enemy aircraft, managing to hit the engine and cockpit of the first 109. As F/Sgt Speedy turned on to the 109 he confirmed the pilot dead stick. The second 109 dropped in behind F/Sgt Speedy77, who was attacking the second Stuka, however he easily evaded the 109's guns, causing the enemy Messerschmitt to overshoot and fly straight into Sgt Dojo's gunsight. Another burst of 20mm cannon and the second 109 was dead.

At this time the second Ju-87 fell prey to F/Sgt Speedy77's guns. Both pilots were running low on ammo, and seeing a friendly trio of allied aircraft in the area, they headed back to Lille for an RTB and well deserved rest.

Total kills - 4 (1 109 E4, 1 109 F4 and 2 Ju-87's)

Total Losses - 0.

A good result, however 19 Squadron need more pilots! Check out the website if you are interested in being part of the newest Spitfire Squadron in WWII!

If you are interested in flying Spitfires as part of a team, and want to kill LW in the air, pm me or check out our website.

We are actively looking for recruits of all abilities to join us and help smash the Axis Air Squads where it hurts them, high over their targets and trade routes!

Well apart from a massive turnaround by the Allies (again) this campaign seems to be winding up to an end.

Although all may be lost, 19 Squadron RAF are still seeking active GMT pilots (and pilot wannabees) for Active Service flying Spitfires, Hurricanes and Havocs across the fields of France, The Low Countries and into the heart of Germany!

Please feel free to check out our forums and website and drop me a line here, via pm or post or in game or on the forum if you are interested in finding out more!

Prepare for campaign 57 now! Join the best bunch of RAF chaps around,

19 Squadron RAF!

As i tried to start a RAF coastal command squad last year but could not get the unit together before having to leave ive been looking for an RAF squad thats ready to show the LW, and the axis, the right way to die, at the hands and guns of the RAF! Im in, as long i can lead the anti-shipping section. So far 45 Z34s to no loss, its time the KM knew all water is ours. ( Im also a skilled fighter pilot, i work high cover and escort, not low level quake ) To Berlin and back!
