Would take a Ship or if it is full, multicrew. Thx.

Bronko40 assigned as Captain of the USS Bobolink, Casdk Crew.

Bronko40 send a Private Message (PM) to Casdk to confirm. Casdk send a PM to Bronko40 to confirm.

Gentlemen please note that the Crew gets the twin 20mm and the Captain the single 20mm on a Fairmile. Both are good guns but twin is better than single so because Casdk signed up first I'm shifting him to the better gun by making him Crew.

Absolutely fired up about this event. When I flew in Air Warrior a decade ago' date=' we used to have the Pearl Harbor scenario, Ploeste scenario, etc. Always fun because it's a great change of pace from the game. Especially important I would think at the moment due to the state of the campaign. One thing I wanted to ask however; why no torpedo bombers? The Japanese used 40 Nakajima B5N "Kate" bombers armed with torpedoes, to great effect during the first wave. Seems like we could have a few folks set up to fly the Blen T. That way, the defenders have to watch for both high and low attacks. I think it would make the event more realistic, and more engaging.[/quote']

Blunt reason why I hope we don't see torpedo bombers in, viewable limit. A plane could drop its torpedo and the ship would never see the plane (but the plane would see the ship). This would lead to tactics where torpedo bombers could safely operate behind the cloud of stukas which will block it from the ship's viewable limit.

Would it be too late to get a crew position somewhere? I'd also be willing to help tow Bofors before wave 2 if you guys need help...

I understand your concern, but I wonder if the fairly tight confines where our "battleship row" will be, will make it necessary to get close in before dropping. If there is going to be a vis limit issue, it will happen with the dive bombers as well.

This really kills me to have to do this but im going to have to drop out of this, so my position is now open. I have a party the night before this (because of were i live, the event starts at 7am for me) so there is no way in hell that i will be able to get up the next morning for this. Sorry to everyone that i could be letting down. So can someone take my name off the list for Stuka pilots?

I have allready applied for a Stuka.

But... can i have a He-111 pls? :D

I'm afraid not. Also consider that Destroyer 37mm generally rapes HE-111s.

I actually DON'T have to work this week end.

I'll take a Ship, looks like the Raleigh is still open, if no ship available I'll take a Stuka.
