Have had it all day. At some points i simply couldnt enter world, as i CTDed on first spawn in constantly. Reloaded game some 6 times where it occured. Then took a break and rebooted which helped.

But have had it all day, mixed between spawn in and spawn out, but pretty much with a 1-2 sortie interval. Game is almost unplayable like this.

Have had same problem.

Has occurred in the following circumstances:

-Pilot in a spit9c was critically hit so I decided to despawn (crashed b4 i got to AAR screen) x 2

-Despawning (RTB-ing) and then swapping from french mission to british PARA x 1. 13 ANZAC squad members all crashed at the same time when swapping from their missions to the new para mission.

-Quickly respawning on the same mission after dying at a french spawnable in la capelle x 2

On 1 of the occasions when the game crashed an error window popped up saying C++ Run time error in the title bar but the window it self was blank and I had to close it by forcing it to close the processes tab in windows task manager. Crashes occurred after a short period of play (<10min) whilst others after long periods (45min+)

System:

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

Intel i7 920

Nvidia GTX 285 Driver version 8.16.11.9107

6 GB RAM

There was an error log file in my ww2ol folder in My documents with the following:

As long as you launch online again the ctd report is sent automatically to the server. These are the same bug.

Getting the same issue. No problem like this in Beta, looks like a nasty little bug has krept in during the last build of the client software. Squish that bug ratties.

1 more to the line ...

Seems after 1 successful mission - during which I get decent FPS and the only glitch appears to be the "black flashes" - that a switch of anything (unit type, town, brigade) before respawn causes silent CTD.

I have not noticed the same with a switch of mission only (as in just respawn, no town/brigade/unit swap), but I will try that later.

Get this bug too.

Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT.

Win 7 64.

Dual Core E8400.

Each time (4/5) I am playing on ground and decide to change profile (from ground to air - as a pilot), I can choose the plane, than decide to enter the game, so it's loading 1 sec and than return to windows. No error message, just close the game and return to windows...

Than I relaunch game => red lock.

So exit and relaunch again, and it is ok.

Have you all tried the new low memory option (ingame preferences)? Does it help?

Have you all tried the new low memory option (ingame preferences)? Does it help?

I can try it tonight when I get home from work.... BUT I have 12 Gigs of Ram and all setting enabled and Maxed.... The "Low Memory" options sounds like something you would need if you did not have much Ram.

If it somehow reduces the memory footprint, why would this not be the default way the game engine runs?

if this patch is suppose to be an improovement its a pretty poor effort,im not impressed at all by this patch.

all it seems to boil down to is a bit of eye candy and more bugs!

Close other thread due to age.

If you are getting a persistent Crash to Desktop every time, or nearly every time, you attempt to spawn, we would like to get some information to help us find this bug and fix it.

1) What is your Operation System?

2) What is your CPU?

3) How much system RAM do you have?

4) What is your Graphics/Video Card?

4a) How much video RAM does it have?

4b) Are the Drivers up to date?

5) Does this happen Online AND Offline?

6) Does it happen for all unit types? Didnt tried planes or boats but im pretty
