If you mean it tries to keep patching, then see this: http://forums.battlegroundeurope.com/showthread.php?t=342340

Sorry McK ... not seen that one before ... hope someone has a fix

well i have tried everything, compatibility, reloaded ALL drivers, complete re-install of the game, everything - no go.

all of my other games still work fine.

i get the same error in ww2_log.txt - the only change is OS version when i run it in compatibility mode

obviously the game isn't recognizing my graphics card or has some issue with my directx, but all of that is fresh and running smooth according to their diagnostics.

For the patch rolling over, the stuff the guy did on the first thread worked for me eventually....

Fixed, sort of.,

I did something that was done for the repatch problem: i clicked cancel when playgate was logging in, waited a bit, then tried again.

I'm getting this same problem. I click play and immediate CTD. I think its not recognizing my video card.

I've got a Radeon Mobility HD2600. Every other game works great. Need to figure this out. I'll stay posted.

This just started for me today. Click the play button on the playgate and the game acts like its going to start. But then the screen turns black, freezes and then I have to restart my computer.

I think I may have found the problem on my end. I started to take my memory sticks out and checking mother board and just looking inside my machine. When I touched my X-fi titanium sound card, it was loose and not sitting in the socket securely. The screw had stripped its threads and the card came loose.

So I removed my sound card and installed the chipset drivers for my onboard sound and I got to play for about 2 hours last night without any problems.

I will need to figure out how to secure my sound card into that slot. Because my onboard sound is just way too low.
