Help, my PC no longer runs my graphics cards fan. (solved)

Awright, I have a question for you guys.

Yesterday the fan on my Geforce 9600 GS inexplicably stopped. Thinking that the fan was broken I put a spare I had from another card on there whit the same result.

It just didn't spin.

So thinking that the card was broken I bought a new card but I still have the same issue. The cards fan just doesn't want to work. Everything else works, I can start log into windows and use it until the card overheats.

So I need help, what is wrong with my computer?

Sounds more like a PSU problem then, the card isn't getting the power it needs through the PCIe connector from the PSU.

If you have another PSU to test with I'd suggest you try that.

I bought a new PSU to the new card, the card is a GTX460 and the PSU is this one: http://gadgets.softpedia.com/news/OCZ-MOD-Xstream-PRO-600W-Power-Supply-Review-3947-01.html

Never mind, it works now(well one fan does, hopefully by design). dunno why it didn't before.

Thank you anyway. Hopefully it was a badly seated cable or something.
