I heard a lot of people and just noticed a FPS decrease all over the map. Any ideas?

Thanks!

It's not consistently low for me.. I'll be flying around fine and get a spike down to 3-5 then back up to 30-40. Seemed worse around Antwerp and got better the further away I was.

1.32 got 60fps vysnc on, 1.33 getting 20-35 vysnc on both at empty fbs. MY fps increases when i look at trees, which is reverse of the normal?

Interesting, none of this happened during beta of course.

Antwerp seems the root of many issues at the moment.

A travesty...Went running behind an EI for about 10 sec shooting him with the smg in the back. Another EI I shot dead while I stood in front of him a few meters with my rifle I would swear never even saw me for about three rifle shots.

Didn't notice any major fps loss in beta, but we didn't recreate 100's of players fighting in the vicinity of Antwerp so yeah......

My fps during town fighting has gone down from a high 30's average to low 20's.

EXTREMELY LAGGY infantry play. Guys going insta prone, guys bouncing from spot to spot. first they are in front of me then at my feet, my round not hitting anything like they used to.

I was in beta some and didn't have any of these issues.

Antwerp has always been a FPS problem area for me dating back to the start of the game. Not sure what the problem could be, but it happens with or without EA activity. For me FPS rated drop is around 10-20.

I had around 50-70 FPS while flying on the deck, about 120 when high up. Now I have ~25 fps on the deck with game freezing up every few seconds. As someone suggested it might've been connected to Antwerp area, because that's where I've been flying.

FPS on the ground doesn't look very good, also.

Noticed a drop in FPS in Lier yesterday when it was under attack. Looking towards town reduced FPS to 15-20, even though the only thing visible were some bushes and buildings. Looking away from town leads to normal (pre 1.33) FPS of 40-50.

This is because allieds have placed 90% of there flags and activity in twerp area, and nuetans law is closer objects, less FPS basically,

So dont be surprised with lag spikes,Idk it might be affliated with twerps scripting though,But yeah once twerp falls ect we should be good and happy :)

All of these reports need OS, GPU and driver version to be of value.

I'd also suggest running a .benchremagen and then a .benchinfanrtry offline and reporting those.

  • launch offline
  • at ui type '.benchremagen'
  • spawn
  • record fps
  • while spawned type '.benchinfantry'
  • record fps

i can only fly above 4k over no mans land, 9fps near a town in a dogfight isnt good.

Bring back low memory option please

That explains why you straightened up and stopped maneuvering when you turned back toward Sambreville. If I knew you were having FPS issues, I wouldn't have taken the shot. :(

System:

Windows 7 64bit

E8400 3ghz CPU

4GB RAM

ATI 4870 1GB RAM Driver version: 8.821.0.0

Benchmark results:

Benchremagen: 30FPS, sometimes sinking to 25 for a second

Benchinfantry: 19FPS

I use ATI tray tools for AF and AA , if you want me to disable those options for the benchmark please say so.

Windows 7 64 bit

Sapphire HD5850 1GB Toxic

Driver 8.791.0.0

1920x1200x32

Remagen: 40-50 FPS

Infantry: 28-29 FPS

While I get around 45-50 FPS in game as infantry when there's not many players around, it degenerates to an unplayable 10 FPS slideshow in close combat.
