i can only fly above 4k over no mans land, 9fps near a town in a dogfight isnt good.

Bring back low memory option please

All of these reports need OS, GPU and driver version to be of value.

That explains why you straightened up and stopped maneuvering when you turned back toward Sambreville. If I knew you were having FPS issues' date=' I wouldn't have taken the shot. :([/quote']

Hmm. Since you don;t even draw infantry at that distance I wonder what else is going on.

There must be more to this story.

Windows 7 64

Radeon HD 4870 1GB

Catalyst Version 11.2

Remagen: 50-52 FPS.

Infantry: 29 FPS

Seems about right.

3.0 GHz Core 2 Duo E8400

4 GB Ram

nVidia GTX260

I get 35 in 1.33 and got 40ish in 1.32.

Not sure if this is related to the fps issue:

I've noticed an occasional stutter/temporary frame freeze while flying since 1.33 went live, while on ts with my squad mates they reported it happening to them at the same time, though we were flying in different areas of the map.

Not at my game computer so can't benchmark right now but I am with blackshark here. First off I was flying with him. We both had lag. Worse at antwerp area. We left because it was practically unplayable. Better frames by both hirson and sambreville but it would still lag. Usually a drop from 50-60 for me down to 5-10. So it appears to be worse over a heavy fought town but would still happen even at alt. away from the combat zone.

I don't have the driver info right now but

AMD 3.0 phenom II x4 black edition

ATI 4870 HD 1GIG

8gigs DDR2

Soundblaster X-FI extreme

Win 7 64 Home prem.

I remember the sortie if that helps:

I encountered him near Sambreville at about 1.5-2km, I began pursuit of him while he was engaged with a friendly, began NW of town about 900-1200 meters, he pulled a hard turn heading toward town (his nose was facing the town) and immediately stiffened upon exiting the turn (I suspect because of hideous FPS now, I was actually mystified during the engagement why he would suddenly stop maneuvering), I shot his tail off.

I would also like to note that in the beta I got consistently better framerates than I did in 1.32.

My fps has been utterly obliterated since 1.33 - down from 60-70 to 20-35

Just for you GOPHUR

Windows 7 home premium 64bit

radeon 5830 ATI tech ver 7.11.0.7703

Intel I7-930 2.8 quad bloomfield core

6G PATRIOT VIPER Ram

2x1.5Tb Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm HD

GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R MB

Being the first day I wasn't expecting much so I'm not terribly disappointed.

2 things caught my eye

My FPS were a bit down from previous versions but it couldn't be said I was ever below 40FPS even fighting in the Flak of ANTWERP and on a major patch night I was expecting it to be lower than normal (55-70 range)

The only anomalies I did have were from below the cloud deck looking up into them I had some strange tiling issue.

Tonight is squad night so I'll do more footage and post up any other anomalies noticed.

Here is the video of bench test

EDIT: all my toys are turned on medium range vis limit only thing down from max

Results of tests:

1.33

benchremagen 19 fps

benchinfantry 13 fps

benchantwerp 25 fps

Spawned as Hurricane in hangar facing N:

Looking N 31 fps

Looking NE 40 fps

Looking E 38 fps

SE 33 fps

SW 33 fps

W 30 fps

NW 25 fps (this is where twerp is)

1.32 last version before 1.33 patch.

benchremagen 20

benchinfantry 15

benchantwerp 27

Spawned as Hurricane in hangar facing N:

Looking N32fps

Looking NE 38 fps

Looking E 40 fps

SE 36 fps

SW 33 fps

W 34 fps

NW 25 fps (this is where twerp is)

My Settings: All visual candy disabled, except for muzzle flash which in not an issue in those tests anyhow.

System Specs: iMac Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 GhZ

4GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 9400 with 256 MB VRAM (i know it should be barely able to handle the game. For what I needed, i.e flying not very close to AOs that did the job fine in 1.32)

I will highlight yellow where the results are better for 1.33 vs 1.32 and red where they are worst for 1.33 vs 1.32. Where they are comparable no highlight will be made. The benchmark test are all comparable. Spawned at antwerp most of the results are similar 1.32 vs 1.33 and my baseline in 1.32 was low fps to start with. However there are some differences, not sure if enough to draw yet a conclusion. Looking straight in the direction of Antwerp from the S hangar i get SAME results 1.33 vs 1.32. So drawing the buildings does not seem to be the factor.

Now looking SE and W is where I get somewhat significantly higher fps in 1.32 vs 1.33.

As I said before I experienced significant lag spikes, even frozen for one good second at times in the Antwerp Shilde Lier Boom Area yesterday. I was always at alts higher than 2k when this happened. Today did not fly same area, flew some in the S of the map and I did NOT notice the same as frequently. Perhaps once or twice in about two hours. I hope this helps.

We're trying to see what is going on. I'm hoping we'll have an update by this time next week.

We need sys specs on anyone having significant issues.

Intel i7 740 1.73 GHz (2nd Generation)

6 gb of ram

Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium (WWII runs in 32 auto)

ATI 5850 Mobility Radeon with 1 GB of Onboard Ram. Driver Version 8.763.0.1083

BenchRemagen: 14-21 FPS.

BenchInfantry: 9-10 (This froze my laptop for about two/three seconds)

BenchVehicles: 7-8 FPS

This is a 2 month old laptop, so I am quite confused as to why this is happening. For some reason WWII is only running one of the cores. Don't know why. Never has done that pre-patch.

FPS before the patch was in the 60's in the middle of a battle.

Not sure if this has been mentioned......

Everyone needs to benchmark with antialiasing and anistropic filtering off.

Need to set the game to preformance setting then reload the game prior to benchmarking.

Otherwise it's not a representative sampling.

Good point Zeke. I wasn't too worried about it as there are no comparisons here so these benches aren't very useful to begin with. What they do telkl me is that similar machines I bench on are getting similar results so that then means that my historical data is probably valid for comparing results from previous version.

@company0

I'd like to see if you get better results turning everything (including driver set to defaults or performance) to performance improves this for you.

Gophur, I have noticed lower ingame fps but mainly (so far) just lower "highest" fps.

I play navy when ice is axis. Normaly I see over 200 to 300=fps out in blue water...Away from land vis.

Now, post 1.33 I'm only seeing low 200s as highs. Looking at the sky is lower now too but I got no clue as to the why.

I think there is something different that's affecting fps beound the new inf update but no idea yet where to look.

IMO it's not affecting my game but still points to something new that's affecting fps.
