its a samsung RF711 and meets, even surpasses, the requirements for this game yet when I try and enter the game world(note that i have only tried offline up till now) it crashes on the loading screen. maybe its an update problem? or maybe its because my computer is too powerfull? I dont know but I would really appreciate if you guys could help me find a solution....I really miss Battleground europe

The graphics card shown in your dxdiag shows you have an onboard INTEL graphics

Simply put they are not good Enough to run the game

You need a dedicated graphics card

Some laptops will have a dedicated graphics card aswell BUT select onboard intel as Default,, I dont know if this is the Case in Your situation

Do you have Nvidia graphics built In?

Browning,

Your system should have both the intel gma and an nVidia GT540M dedicated GPU. First, load up the WWIIOL settings.exe program (start->programs->crs->battleground europe->settings) and select the nVidia card as the default card for BE. Let us know if you still aren't getting it working.

Seems to be a common occurrence with the nVidia Optimus configurations. Some folks have had luck adding ww2.exe to the list of games requiring high-perf drivers in the nVidia control panel. Still digging for the thread that actually has the fix detailed. Will post a link if I find it.

I got the same problem only my card is AMD Radeon HD 6650M, so I cant use the Nvidia Control Panel.

I am unsure how to get a similar product that I can use.

In the Catalyst Control Center I can change the game to use high performance, but that does not help.

I still cant select the AMD card in the settings.exe, and I am unsure how to proceed. I think I understand my problem - namely that I cant set my dedicated graphic card as the default for BE, but I dont know how to make that happen.

Btw, I have also written about this problem here: http://forums.battlegroundeurope.com/showthread.php?t=383014

But was directed to this thread.

Good news - for me at least: I got it to work.

I managed to manually set the dedicated graphics card as the standard in the Catalyst Control Center, but it was done in a counter intuitive way, thats why I had problems.

With that done I could set the AMD card as the one used in settings.exe, and everything works perfectly :)

Thank you everybody for your help.

I have the same problem as Browning50, I even have the same exact computer! but I can't seem to fix the problem. I've set the graphics card as Nvidia and I've tried it both online and offline up until now but nothing, it just crashes the second I try and open the game world, please help!

Got the same problem. Got an Asus K75V with integrated Intel HD 4000 chipset and an nvidia GT 630m.

I checked the CUDA GPU and the 630 is marked there but i can still only choose intel in WWIIOL settings...
