This worked on my laptop . Got it from the Nvidia boards.

But a few minutes ago i was reading one of the threads in here about the 540m failer, and somebody made a post asking if my driver was set to High Performance, so i went to check for that in my Nvidia Controlcenter.

When i went there i saw that it was set to choose it Automaticly, so i changed it and pressed apply/use, then i went to the PhysX configuration center and i did the same (Changed it from Automaticly to the Geforce GT 540m.)

"Then i went back to CanIRunIt and did the test again. This time it showed that my graphic card was fully funcutional and now i have no trouble with playing the games that i wanna play (I couldn't play minecraft before because of T&L).

This is how i did by the way:

I went to the Nvidia Controlcenter > 3D-Adjustments - "Nvidia-processor with high preformance" > PhysX "Geforce GT 540m".

I really hope this will help you guys out, since i know how troublesome it is to have problems with your computer.. Good luck guys!

Sorry for all the spelling mistakes btw.. I'm not that good at english.

My laptop the settings were PhysX -> NVS 4200M and Manage 3D settings -> Global Settings -> High Performance NVidia Processor. Both of these settings were on default before.
