Game freezup after approx 30 mins

4 posts in this topic

Game freezes up after approximately 30 minutes. Fan on video card is working and it ain't that hot in here. :)

New vid card NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700LE though so I suspect problem lies there, although game has not run good on computer since 1.19.

I have tried switching between vid ram and system ram.

Should know with Battlefield 2 it shuts down also after about 30 minutes. Seems like heating issue maybe, but like I said, fan works. Could it be a power supply thang? It does not shut down when just in windows mode or web browsing.

By the way new forums prevent posting the DXDIAG in full.

Yeah, it could be power supply or heat. Also go into your BIOS and try some different settings, such as lowering AGP speed (to 4X minimum), disabling AGP fastwrite, putting the AGP Aperture at 1/2 your video card ram.
