New Players get quick advice here!

Just wanted to start a quick and easy post for you, the new player to Battleground Europe. All of these suggestions will allow you to get in game fast and to maximize your fun during the first few days. (Vets please feel free to add)

1) Get on Teamspeak. There's a TON of great players that will drop everything they are doing to help you get over the learning curve and get you shooting at either Mosizlak or Martigan in no time! :D

Don't have Teamspeak? Download it here: http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads

ts.wwiionline.com:9988 - Allied Server (no password)

2) Pick a side and stick to it. Often players like to jump around and try both sides (which is fine) but to truly get a great experience stick to one side and get used to all the quirks that comes with it. Stick with a side for a map.

3) FIND A SQUAD. This is the biggest advice you can get. There are a ton of squads out there in different time zones that have trainers that will get you up to speed fast. The learning curve is steep and in reality most of us learn by doing than by reading.

4) Ask questions. Lots of people are regularly on these forums looking to help you, the new player.

5) Don't give up. As mentioned several times the learning curve can seem steep but if you do the above, you will immediately get in game and get shooting. The game can seem complex at times but really its a breeze.

So get out there and get on Teamspeak, find yourself a squad, and get in the War soldier!

As always if you have any questions or want to hit the field with me feel free to send me a private message and I'll help.
