Bridge AO/DO do we need it?

All great ideas. But, I was trying to fix this problem simply.

Can we change the parameters for the AO/DO on bridges simply?

  1. How about 3x as many AO/DO for bridges
  2. time to implement cut to 1 minutes or less.
  3. time to take AO/DO down to 1 minutes or less.

These fixes should only take a programmer a small amount of time as you would only change the parameters and not the program.

As it stands you will get a bridge set up in about 10 minutes as the MOIC is busy doing other things TOO.

Then you would have people blowing bridges that are needed, I can not believe this was not thought of.   We want to attack a town, someone on our own side decides ahyI don;t like that bridge lets blow it.  That bridge was essential to the attack.  that player single-handedly destroyed the attack. When you come with an idea always think of how it can be exploited because if it can it will be!

Then how do you get a DO/AO on a bridge when the HC will not answer you??

That is a High command issue, that is affecting the entire game, not just bridges.  We could implement a backup high command that can place ao's like mission leaders do, but because they are not high-command they can't move units and other options HC would have.

Never got it and we lost town.

 

 

Points take forever to get when doing a bridge. You drop one charge, despawn, respawn, drop a charge. To get to 5 level you would take hours to do. Because points ONLY happen when you despawn. You put all 4 charges on or 1 charge and despawn, same amount of points. At 10 points per charge per despawn.

Same for bombing. It gives you 10 points per direct hit on bridge, 10 points. So, you drop a whole load or 1 bomb and then fly back and RTB to get your points.

RINSE/REPEAT. Now let me ask you how long that took to get your points to go up in rank?

It is definitely a big time waster for ranking up.  Then you have to take into the fact the enemy maybe flying near by.

Not a valid argument for air points.
