ATG//PAK One standing one kneeling

6 posts in this topic

Why is it that the ALLIED ATG when moving, the 2 guys are standing?

Why do the AXIS PAK when moving get to kneel?

The Allied gets seen more easily because it is standing when moving.

Whereas, the Axis can hide when moving thru the bushes better because it is kneeling.

This has irked me for many years.

HEY CRS,  WTF??

If you are referring to the 57mm/6pdr atg's, they are older atg's in game, Pak 38 is the same way. Pak 40 / 76mm / 17 pdr are newer atg's and crew is knelling. It is a know issue I think.

2 pounder vs 3,7cm Pak, both kneeling.

57 Vs 50 mm both standing up and begs to be shot.

75 vs 76 mm both kneeling.

Whats the balance problem?

Standing or Kneeling makes no difference in survivability, all AP goes right through the gun shield.

For what it's worth, the pak36 crews probably did kneel, or maybe even lay flat on their faces a lot, due to the fact that you have to be point blank and praying when you use it, hence its nickname "Armored Door Knocker"
