Are the fragments that hit the ground (bottom of explosive) accounted for in the records?

 

Say a nade had 40 bits and bits below the nade weren't counted; while the modeled nade sends 1/2 its bits straight into the ground.

I think it was asked with the old HE but the answer was the old HE was underperforming based on older computer/program limits.

Still under investigation.. Not sure it’s going to be an immediate fix but we are digging. This is an area that I don’t believe the new team has ever investigated/touched previously.

Have you checked the velocity of shrapnels? What if you increase it until the expected result on energy transfer? Except if it can hurt other units

That might be a problem.
You bump up frag velocities to that of high velocity armor piercing things, you get a whole world of incorrectness going on
that will probably domino, be like trying to leash the devil perhaps
