Sniper Rifle Zooming Alterations

Not sure if this has been posted already.  did a quick search and didn't see anything.  If duplicate, please delete.

Is there any way to make it possible where, while zooming into the scope, you can stay zoomed in instead of automatically reloading after firing a shot?  Any other weapon you can stay zoomed in and see the landing spot of the round.  With the sniper it automatically reloads and you can't see the round land.  

This is a realistic request.  They often did this when in the field.  No reason this realistic game shouldn't have it as an option.

Would it be proper to make the scope glass like the see through windows in game, like on the gas station, though not nearly as dark, just a bit, and have a wee smudge here or there, again extremely light, for immersion's sake? Or are sniper optics as clear as day, and kept that way at all times in the field? Would a little glare be proper if the engine could handle it?

One would expect, but its gotta get dirty, muddy, dusty out there. The optics on the weapons just don't feel like there's glass there. Maybe as they improve the graphics engine they can add an effect or two that makes one aware.

The sniper scopes has some smudging around the edges now.
