CTDs are hard to troubleshoot. Have to slowly narrow it down.

Does it crash in offline mode?

Does it crash with "enable sound" unchecked in settings?

Does it crash if you stay at the UI (not spawned in)?

Does it crash if you spawn in a unit and just leave it sitting there?

Also, post your dxdiag info: http://www.gnasche.com/ww2ol/support/dxdiag.htm

both controlers are activated at settings (video card and soundcard).

Does it crash in offline mode? -> not checked

Does it crash with "enable sound" unchecked in settings? -> not checked

Does it crash if you stay at the UI (not spawned in)? ->NO

Does it crash if you spawn in a unit and just leave it sitting there? ->NO

for now i have been playing about 30' but... in 2 minutes my sound go off

but the game dont crash

The Problem could be with this driver "nvapu.sys" alot of people get bsod's then rebooting using this driver.. I'm still looking hold on

[edit] it looks like it is a nvidia driver for your chipset. im guessing cause im not 100% sure yet let me keep looking

Yeah, I think this is the right course to go down. Updating the chipset drivers, which should include the sound drivers.

If you still have problems, do a new dxdiag and post your "Sound Devices" section again.

ok i dont try to run game for a minutes already, but i will try it .... but i think that i had the same version installed on my computer...

and the settings on game??? oh man why can i have a rate of fps between 10-30 and 50, and sometimes 3fps only 1-2 seconds...

another problem...

i dont know HOW and WHY but for now i have the BloqNum key to mUte sound XD .... how i can change it?

i have think that maybe would be a sollution to buy a PCI sound card... a HARDWARE sound card not the fuu emulated nforce2... (i must to say that nforce2 soundstorm its awesome...but...emulated i think)

The nforce2 soundstorm isn't emulated. It's one of the few soundcards that can actually convert in the hardware to Surround Sound and output it through it's digital SPDIF port. Even the latest SoundBlaster X-Fi doesn't do that. I've used the soundstorm for years without problems.

Questions about your memory, as I see that your board has 3 memory banks and can run PC3200:

Did you recently upgrade the memory, if so did it require filling that third slot, if thats true are they all PC3200 modules?

Reason I ask is I recently tried to upgrade from 1 gig (2x 512 PC3200 modules) to 2 gig by adding another 1 gig PC3200 module. I found after adding the 1 gig module I was getting random CTDs in this game and others. It turns out I can't run all three chips at once at a 400 mhz bus speed because they're all double sided and my board (K8T Neo-FSR) only supports two double sided chips at 400, regardless if memory size. If I want three chips (or all three slots filled) they've got to be single sided, which are hard to find thse days and not worth me buying IMO. Or I have to lower my memory speed to 333, which I'm not sure is worth it in the long run.

Just a thought, as I've spent most of the weekend trouble-shooting a similar problem myself and thats what it turned out to be.

Try running a torture test like, 'Hot cpu tester',

http://www.7byte.com/

Free version.

If the pc fails the test, it will pinpoint the error.

It's a good idea to monitor temps. while testing.

Sounds like a heat or memory issue. 55C. on the cpu isn't cool. Video card could be hot too if there's poor airflow.

Try removing the case's side panel and blowing air direct with a fan.
