FPS suxxzors and sudden CTHL *still* after 1.25.4

CTD'd after going from 20 FPS to 10 FPS to 2 FPS to CTD.

Here is my error logs and DXDIAG reports that might apply. Lemme know if you need more.

I am frustrated and love this game. I play with SSE2 and NetCode2 on. I turn off all reflections. I leave on high player numbers to be displayed, 64 sounds, and leave on muzzle smoke and tracer fire, etc.

JEEZUS do I need help to keep playing this game - it is my golf.

Any tips or tweaks or if you need more info. I build my own computers by hand and update the equipment too.

But the FPS is single digits after being in the 20's and after patches. Feels like a continuing memory leak?

Yeah, Have you disabled the onboard sound in the bios?

Try changing the minimap to the compass and see if it gives you any fps.

I heard that it does and I tried it last night but didn't see any difference.

I would also change your player limit to medium. That's what I've played on since you've been able to change it and I have no problems with 64 limit. Not with what I'm fighting at least.

im going to assume since you build your own that you are setting you bios. 2 yrs ago when built my amd 2300@2.0 (939) 6600GT(agp) corsair xms dual-channel (2-3-3-6),it ran poorly at first.i found my CAS latency was default at 3 when my memory was CAS 2. switching that 1 thing made everything work. even today 2 yrs later i can still hold low to mid 20's in a heavy fight,jumping in the high 30's to low 40's at fb's.ive had to lower my settings, no AA,4x AF,vsync/triple buffering on, player vis medium,supressions on,LOD's off,no specular.not quite as good looking as i used to run a year ago, but i expect games to slowly need faster hardware as the industry advances.i will probalby retire this rig around mid to late summer for a faster one.it should hold up till then.
