SMG Firebugs

On both sides. Never heard so many. 3x to 4x time more I would say. Probably happening with armors engine as well. See that with a flak30 yesterday in Blitzen, unlimited ammo ftw!

Definitely happening with armour engines too. another problem with firebugs is not everyone is hearing it, I see people saying firebug but do not hear it myself, conversely, I hear firebug and not everyone else does.

I've had it twice in quick succession today with AA.
And I've often seen axis walking around with SMG firebug. Makes it easy to find them!  And armour. Basically - it's happening a lot. But yes, not everyone hears it.

Firebugs are typically attributed to latency and/or dropped packets. With how funky the internet been lately with high traffic, it doesn’t surprise me. We have been keep an eye on traffic to see how to get the most out of what we got.

IIRC we had a fix in place for it one time but then realized that planes were flying around not making any noise.. So we had to revert it. I believe @Nick was working on that one time when he had some time.

Haha no, I found and fixed the cause of the engine bug for armour but for reasons that  I never got the time to look into, it effected plane engine audio. My fix was removed in the very next patch.
