Not that I had noticed so far. I'm not 100% sure if all paras appear at the same point outside the plane when you jump, or if it's related to exactly where you are sat. I'll have to ask the dev's about that.   Like I said, I think it's a combination of a couple of things that are causing this, however to test the seat theory means getting a few people together and doing multiple test drop making sure we note where everyone is sat and seeing if there is a pattern for the ones that die/. I can certainly get my 3 accounts up on the training server if some of you want to test out this theory,

is there a certain seating position that it happens?

So a brief update. More testing has shown the deaths are almost certainly being caused by the plane hitting the para after it jumps. We have a few ideas as to what may cause it, and it may be a combination of more than one thing. It's ticketed , so will be looked at further, although I still need to find a way of getting it to happen every jump.

We will look into it and compare sound levels to the other trucks.  The actual engine sound is quite loud, but there are setting that can effect how loud things will be in 3rd person and at what distance sounds fade, etc.   Once we get this current patch out I plan to try and do an audit on the sound levels. It's possible a value might be wrong here or there, or that a certain sound file that sounds ok, when put though the engine is doing different things to the other ones. And of course, certain vehicles ARE lounder than others, so there will always be some differences in sound levels. But we will look to see if anything is wrong and needs changing.

PC and headphones pretty loud in-game audio level compared to other games   I am an expert in locating enemy units because of their audio they send ... but the M3 HT is completely different compared to the other units the audio of that unit can be easily covered with ANY other units audio ... like engines of vehicles .. planes ... trucks ... and even with shots fired. impossible to locate it then

Out of interest Undercover, are you on a PC or Mac. And do you use headphones or speakers?

tbh ... this bug is absolutely game breaking ! the chance for allies to set up frus with the M3 is extremely high because almost no one can locate them because of this bug. i remember how we had 5 players W / NW and N of Hirson out 1k ... but the M3 simply slipped straight through all of us and placed behind us NE of town.   i wonder what the reaction would be if axis had such a vehicle ....

In lovewings video you can see the ping and packets in the first one and they don't appear to spike, but it does look like the rear wing does hit the para. When I was testing and got them to die it wasn't seeing any spikes/lag, and was the only one on the server. Whilst I can't 100% rule that out I don't think its that.   I've finished my other testing for today so will go have a play with this and report anything I find.
