1.29 Known Issue: Mac Must Install as Admin

Can switch to admin user and install, but if admin privileges are needed for some reason, the installer should ask to authenticate. I haven't had this issue in any version prior to 1.29.

The behavior is definitely different. I've always kept BE in my Games folder under my non-privileged user directory.

I left out one detail. With 1.29, I'm able to do the full install as a non-admin user, it's the incremental patches that fail (even if BE is installed in the default Applications directory).

Ok we'll look at this. Could be my installer app but honestly that hasn;t changed so it must be Olivers build tool. Not sure.
